This is the first time I am attending this location and I guess apparently I came on the wrong day because there was a sport event going on so of course this is a spot you come too when the event is over.
My biggest pet peeve as a customer is when the owner can’t get their restaurant under control. The fact that the owner doesn’t have the tables on a time limit, but then people claim they know the owner and they get in with a table like vip like hello how is that fair to paying customers like myself.
The fact that people completely are wasted and have to basically be thrown out is ridiculous as an owner you should take pride in your facility and be much better accommodating to all customers on a day where their is a sporting event.
I haven’t even gotten an opportunity to taste the food but I guess I could only imagine what it’s like with the way this place is so hectic. I would highly suggest that if you come here call ahead and see if there is no sporting event and be expected have to hunt a table down and ask them to clean it just so you can sit and actually enjoy an evening.
Again, the owner should really consider an time limit on the tables as must restaurants have done in order to accommodate the...
Read moreThe micheladas were very good and the shrimp on cucumbers were also really good. The prices were okay. I noticed the menu said, "no modifications". I asked the waitress about it to see if I could order the Torta but with no onions. She said that was perfectly fine as the "no modifications" meant substituting different foods. It was fine to remove toppings if you'd like. Awesome, I ordered the torta with Asada meat but no onions. They brought the torta and they accidentally put onions. The mistake is not a big deal but I told the waitress I ordered it with no onions and she apologized and took it back. A few minutes later they bring it back and literally brought me the same torta only they just opened it up, hand picked the onions out and slapped it back together. They even missed a couple of pieces. It's the purple onions so the torta still had that taste and I was just really disappointed. These things really bug me especially when its...
Read moreI was well prepared to give this place one star after walking over for lunch in 100 degree temps from the natural history museum with my toddler and being told that they only sell bottled water and don't offer water on tap for tables. Seriously?? I honestly don't see how that policy can be legal, this place is most definitely a bar that's frequented by many before a soccer game and it seems irresponsible to have a liquor license and not also give waters to the table. Luckily I had a drink to offer my daughter in my purse and we were all too hot and starving to leave and find another place to eat. We ordered the potato tacos for my daughter, I had the fish tacos and my husband had an alpastor burrito. The items were a little small and a bit on the pricey end but they did not disappoint. Everything was absolutely delicious. So, in the end if you decided to come here bring your own...
