La Michoacana Premier — Restaurant in Los Angeles

This review is as an Uber Eats driver, so it may not be relevant to you unless you drive or order from here from the app. I pick up from here occasionally and the order is almost never ready. Which is not uncommon, but it’s part of the gig, sometimes you have to wait for an order, and I was fine with that because it was a good order. So I waited patiently for 20 minutes in line while the employee helped others and when it was my turn she told me the same thing she told me when I got there, the order was not ready. I tried my best to explain that I waited just like everybody else, but she only said that it’s not ready and that she’s there by herself and there should be somebody helping her with the online orders. So instead of working on my order, she skipped to the next customer and only when there was nobody in line did she start on my order, and in the middle of making it, she helped another customer that had walked in. So there are two issues here:

The first being that the restaurant was understaffed on the weekend before Valentines. Management and/or the owners should get it together. Either hire more staff or come in on unscheduled days to help with the load.

The second is just common sense: First come, first serve. I waited in line because I knew she was on her own, and I was still ignored. That means the Uber Eats customer was ignored. It’s bad for business. This should be obvious, but again, management should train the employees to...

The prices have definitely gone up. I thought it was expensive before but now I paid 7 dollars for a single scoop, I’m paying for the size of the cup not the scoops she give, she was even a little stingy on that. But don’t get me wrong they have a wide variety of delicious flavors, but most of the flavors are nothing special. If you go there to get a basic flavor I recommend you don’t, instead go to the store and by a tub, I’m sure it’ll be cheaper than a single small scoop of ice cream. In fact I also ordered an elote on the stick. They ran out of the ones on a stick which I didn’t mind so they gave me a cup one instead. The person who made it knocked the spoon of mayo till there was barely anything and then wiped it on the cup, she also barely put any cheese, I went home and ended up putting more of everything cause she put so little. One of the best spots for Mexican ice creams and snacks of all sorts. Shakes, Ice Cream, Paletas of many selections which I believe Michoacana specializes in and just take a look at all the flavors they have in the front, Cheetos of many sorts, bionicos, elotes con todos please excuse my Spanish for I am terrible, however try to say things the best I can esquites or elote en vaso, and I'll just stop there since my memory has been overloaded with all their choices.

I can say that I want to come back to try more things here, I merely got one scoop of Cheesecake ice cream in a cup. The place is clean, organized, good customer service and it seams that this location is a bit larger than some others. A great place to treat yourself to some snacks...
