what a difference a person makes. went there the first time by the recommendation of my coworker finding that it's only a mile or two from my home. the owner was there and it was an amazing experience I placed my order online.
a few weeks later I returned again the owner wasn't there and I ordered two slices I got a lecture from the girl working the front about how lucky I was because usually they don't have any slices. didn't appreciate the lecture but my pizza was burned. ate the cheesy part and had to toss the rest. the third time which was about a week and a half ago I placed an order on the phone the same girl answered and refused to take my order saying they don't take telephone orders and rather abruptly hung up. great pizza but really bad customer service when the boss is not there. I have this thing with people that seem like they're too good for their job. I'm a computer guy and I'm basically working the McDonald's drive-thru window but I don't have food customer service is my bread and butter. sad good pizza bad customer service at least when the boss is not there. take your chances. in my opinion our experience shouldn't depend on whether or not the boss is on prem. I'll have to find a place with good pizza and good customer service but I have to say the...
Read moreOrdered from them 4 times so far in the last few months. Cheese pizza - Fantastic. All the pies are a tad pricey ($20+) but you get what you pay for, 8+ big slices of tastiness. White cheese pizza - Delicious. Every bit of ricotta is amazing. Doesn't quite fold in half as well as the cheese pizza if you like to do that. Garlic knots - Seemed ok, just not a huge fan personally. You should try them once for yourself to see if you like. Meatballs - Also pretty good, but there's some Italian spice my wife and I don't care for so we won't order again. Seemed very authentic, but we're not XD
Always picked up, pizza was hot and ready to go, staff inside have been professional and nice every time, never had to wait more than a few minutes to get my food.
Small note: We ordered today during the Superbowl, pizza was very close but not 100% the quality we're used to, but I'll give them a pass because they were absolutely slammed when I got there. It felt like our pizza was just barely undercooked compared to other times. We still loved it though. They should steal Papa John's slogan because they really do have better ingredients and better pizza than the rest. We WILL be ordering...
Read moreWe have been to so many pizza places. It is sort of a hobby to find the best pie. I think I have now found it, it is the LaRocco's in Westchester. The one in culver City is also great, but this one wins.
We have never dined there so I can't speak to that, we always get take away. It is always perfect. We call and when we get there our pie is ready.
They have everything you could want. They will make you a full pie, sometimes they have slices. They can make it super thin or thick. They can make a White Pie which is hard to get in LA, at least a good one. You usually have to be in Pittsburgh or NY to get a real White Pie. They have it down and it is always perfect.
They will make your pie not totally baked and you finish it yourself in the oven, and we have done that, but we don't live far so our pizza is always hot and perfect.
The place is always super clean and there is indoor dinning and one day we will do that. It is comfortable inside.
They also have pies with toppings my grandson loves, like their mac and cheese topping. They just have it all.
We will always try new places in search for the best but as I write this is it and there is...
