Mr. Shiloh’s in Los Angeles is a truly exceptional dining experience. As an upscale kosher restaurant, it surpasses expectations in every aspect. The moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel immediately welcome. Their courtesy was evident throughout the evening, attending to our needs with genuine care.
One of the highlights of our visit was the personalized touch from the chef. He created a special seasoning mix just for my ribeye and potato dish, which was absolutely phenomenal. The flavors were perfectly balanced, elevating the dish to a new level of deliciousness.
The wine selection at Mr. Shiloh’s is superb, offering a range of choices that perfectly complement the meal. The staff was knowledgeable and helped us select the ideal wine to pair with our dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant adds to the overall experience, creating an amazing aura that makes the evening feel special and memorable.
As an “in-progress” convert, it was lovely to experience a kosher restaurant whwre evening is safe to eat-avoiding the excessive review of every menu item to ensure it’s kosher certified. Where I am located, we don’t have many kosher restaurants so it was incredible to feel at home with our choice.
In summary, Mr. Shiloh’s offers outstanding food, excellent wine, and exceptional service. It's a place where the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a remarkable dining experience. I highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy an upscale kosher meal in...
Read moreIt’s a lovely place to dine, with amazingly prepared food. The quality is great, I ordered the tart flambee, the steak tartar, and a 16oz ribeye calotte (high marbling). All 3 of the dishes were cooked and prepared to perfection, the flambee being light and crispy with a plethora of flavor from the beef bacon and crème fresh. The steak tartar was salty, seasoned really well and came with a lot too. The calotte was big, as you can see it’s a big cut so if you’ve never ordered something like this before I’d recommend a smaller size 10oz as it does come with a side of potatoes of your choosing and the appetizers can make quite a place in your stomach. They come with 3 different dipping sauces, 2 different au jus and A1 sauce all have their respective intricate flavors when paired with the meat. I ordered medium rare and it was extremely juicy, tender and red but not too red. The fat melted in my mouth and it is definitely my number one recommendation as a turf entree. When you go on a busy night there may be parties in the outdoor and sometimes indoor which can get a bit loud if, which you’re looking for a quiet place can be a good thing to know so reserve a place towards the back if possible. But even with the abundance of party and people the service was very quick and spaced out just right, as I finished one dish and had a few minutes to enjoy drink and rest and the next came out. Very well done...
Read moreI recently dined at Shiloh's Bistro and Garden and had an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, he was the one to recommend we try the delicious carrots!
We started with the salmon carpaccio and sea bass skewers, both of which were delicious, but the sea bass skewers were absolutely next level. The fish just melted in my mouth! The chicken soup was also excellent, with a subtle hint of lime that added a unique touch.
For our main course, we ordered the 40oz ribeye, which was cooked perfectly. Watching the tableside flambé was a fun experience and added to the overall ambiance. The peppercorn and Béarnaise sauces were both delicious and paired perfectly with the steak. We also highly recommend trying the roasted baby carrots and the garlic fries, which tasted very similar to those served at McDonald's. (This is a compliment btw)
Overall, every dish we ordered was a hit and we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Shiloh's Bistro and Garden. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a...
