This place is totally worth the drive! Lattes and food totally lived up to the hype.
Vanilla Latte Came perfectly sweetened already, no sugar needed. Latte art made it a cup of prettiness as well.
Toast Coffee Imagine a good cup of coffee with whipped cream on top and chocolate syrup on the bottom. This drink is definitely good to the last drop.
The Open Face Similar to an eggs Benedict instead of a poached egg there is salmon. Salmon was so fresh! All that goodness sitting on top of a crispy buttery croissant. Worth every calorie!
The Oscar Grilled chicken strips topped with eggs, salsa, and avocado all wrapped in corn tortillas served in a skillet. Absolutely delicious.
Fruit Offered as one of the sides and definitely worth it! Fresh, pretty and everything was sweet.
Parking Valet is offered for a small nominal fee or metered street parking is available. A little be of patience can save you from having to valet your vehicle.

Read moreI sent this to the new owners in an email about a month ago. I am posting it here and on yelp so hopefully they see it and respond. I really do not want the same copy and paste response that the management has given everyone else. It is superficial and not what Toast stands for. Truly heartbreaking.
To Whom it may concern,
I have been coming to Toast for my whole life. Toast has been a staple in an ever changing world, and the lentil soup with a side of French toast and the incredible iced tea has stayed the same for over 18 years.
I came to Toast today after a long week, looking for some comfort, where I was greeted with a one paged paper menu, and not the white one that I have known my whole life. After asking the waiter what happened, he said that there was a change in ownership last week, and there would be many changes to come. I can’t help but feel disappointed that some of these changes are taking place, especially breakfast not being served past 1:00pm. My odd, yet delicious lunch of lentil soup with a side of French toast is now gone, and toast is not what it used to be.
As a loyal Toast customer, it pains me to say that I do not think that I will be returning, as all of these changes means that my experience is not as enjoyable. I know that others will feel the same way. The 2 tables next to us had the same reaction, and 2 people even walked out.
As one of your most loyal customers, I urge you to turn this establishment back into what it once was: the place that served mouthwatering breakfast and lunch all day, put food quality first, and made its customers feel like...
Read moreVery rude and it felt like racist. The moment I walked in, just very unwelcoming vibe from that cashier 1. I apologize calling him cashier 1. I don’t know his name, but on my order, it says it’s cashier 1.
This is my first time here. I walked into the restaurant, completely got ignored. so I thought to myself maybe it’s a place to order at the windows and get number to sit. I walked to the order window. Waited for a while, all of the workers inside would just look at me and looking away as if I am not there. Finally somebody comes to me. I ordered my food. The cashier 1 walked away right away. I try to catch their attention to asked should I get a number or something. For a while, the cashier finally saw me and said it’s takeout only. There are many ppl are sitting outside and a few were inside. I didn’t know what to do. One waiter saw me stood in the middle of restaurant and being nice to ask me is everything ok. I said I meant to dinner in, but accidentally ordered takeout. He said he didn’t ask you it’s for dinner in or take out? No, he didn’t. Then he finds me a table said you can seat here and you want to put your food in plates so you can eat? I said yes, sure. So the waiter went back to the cashier asked to put the food in the plate. He replied no, it’s a takeout order and it’s done. He doesn’t let me dinner in. FYI, later on I called they says a restaurant’s policy to avoiding ppl do this to get a table faster. However, there was nobody waiting at the time and he still doesn’t let...
