Both my fiancé and I got our hair done here, and we feel like neither of our stylists listened to us or gave us half of what we wanted.
My fiancé went in with a balayage, paid $250 for her bayalage to be moved higher up and toned, and by the time we left her hair looked EXACTLY the same as when we went in. The bayalage wasn't higher and it wasn't lighter. It was a waste of product on their end and money on ours. Plus, that's not even what she wanted in the first place - that's just what the stylist wanted to do with her hair.
My stylist told me what I expected to hear - that I couldn't go blonde in one sitting - but I was prepared and I brought transitional shades that I would be willing to do which ranged from chocolate brown to caramel brown. She turned me down. She said she couldn't do it. She couldn't take my hair from a level 2 off black to a level 5 brown. So we do what looks like a foil bayalage, and she only did a partial so she could get started on her next client that was waiting. She didn't even ask. She just decided to stop foiling a little more halfway through my hair. Now, I have dark brown at the bottom and like a level 6ish caramel highlights at the top, and I hate it. I'm having it redone at a different salon ASAP.
They have such great reviews, which is really disappointing now that we've had such a bad experience. Maybe it would have been better if we'd had different stylists, but we will never know because we are never coming back.
*EDIT The salon called me within 30 minutes of posting my review. The stylist who did my hair spent half the call trying to explain why she felt she did a good job and how happy she was with the way my hair turned out. The salon manager spent the other half of the call asking why we didn't have the stylists fix our hair if we didn't like it. Why would we pay more money to have them fix what they could not get right in the first place? We'll pass.
I asked for a partial refund, and the manager said he would get back to me on that. He still hasn't.

Read moreGinger's talent is truly unmatched! I was in absolute AWE when I saw the final result - I was not prepared for how healthy, luscious, and ethereal my blonde would turn out. The end result was identical to the reference photo I brought, which honestly never happened to me before.
What makes Ginger exceptional isn't just her technical skills, but her attentiveness throughout the entire process. She was incredibly caring and kind, making sure I was comfortable while sitting there with dozens of foils on my head. She constantly checked in about my comfort, adjusted my position to ensure my neck wasn't strained, and even offered refreshments during the longer processing times. 🥹🫶🏻
I think not much more needs to be said - the pictures speak for themselves! If you're looking for a colorist who delivers exactly what you want while treating you like a valued client rather than just another appointment, Ginger is absolutely...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place but every time I go in I come out disappointed. I have had my color done and it seems like the people working here have no idea what they are doing and always have an attitude instead of trying to understand what you want. One time they let the receptionist who was clearly a trainee style my hair and he FRIED IT. Another time I asked for balayage and the girl had no idea what I was asking for!! Like what? She gave me highlights that washed off the next day and it was like I didn’t get anything done. And then another time I got a keratin treatment which cost me an eye and an arm and with poor results too. I have given up trying to make this salon work for me given the great reviews. And for $150+ a haircut or $200 for color, it’s just not worth it. Rather pay a bit more at a top...
