I enjoyed the decor and design. Has white & black hex-mosaic tiles in some areas, that offers a traditional deli-restaurant feel. Huge black caged fans on the ceiling. The tables, chairs, & benches are very deli/coffee shop type. Wrought iron table bases, that wobble unless a matchbook is used to level it. Very 70’s. Professional design thought was put into the interior. There’s a self-serve drink concession w/ regular & gas water. Long refrigerator showcases at the counter with appetizing assorted cookies, cakes, and pastries. As of 6/19/2025, assorted cookies are $18lb, cake slices $10ea, & large decorative cookies are $4.50ea. A heathy stacked Cornbeef on rye sandwich w/ 2 pickle slices and fries was $20. A good deal compared to other deli’s prices. The Reuben is $23. Cornbeef runs approx $24lb. They claim to cook all meats in-house except for pastrami. As of 6/19/2025, there were no happy hour deals. Mozzarella sticks(6) w/ marinara $12. A bit pricey for fried breaded cheese w/ tomato sauce. Your money better spent on a bowl of Matzo Ball soup w/ chicken & noodles, tasty bagel chips on the side for only $11. There was very little seasoning if any, for the low-sodium fans. I gave it a healthy hit of salt & pepper to spark my tastebuds. The Matzo Ball is huge and the chicken was a hearty serving ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Best deal in town. I will definitely be a regular for the Matzo Ball soup. Last comment is about the frozen blended Matcha drink. I always ask at Starbucks for my Matcha Frappe to be 2x blended. I like it thick & smooth, not crunchy icy. Their med is like a Starbucks grande and price about the same. The first go around was still crunchy icy & not enough Matcha. I asked for a redo from the manager. He did it right like Starbucks. If you gotta have a Starbucks, the Woodland Hills location has a Starbucks in the parking lot just out the door. If you miss a good deli menu and good food it’s worth a shot. Enjoy!

If I could give the place minus one star, I would do so, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Food was okay though, but the customer service was unacceptable. We had a dinner there with my old friend on September 15; we were hungry and didn’t pay attention to dirty tables and lack of friendliness. We ordered our food and asked for wine, which was in the menu. They said they don’t have wine. Then we ordered a couple beers. They brought food relatively quickly, however didn’t bring ketchup for fries. When we asked for ketchup, they said, they don’t have any. They didn’t bring our beers, we asked a waiter, and we waited, but still no beer. Meanwhile, food was getting colder. I came to the cashier to ask about our beers again and she totally ignoring me said the boy to give the beer. Well, at this point I just wanted to finish my dinner and never see the girl with her attitude again. In addition, the entire time we were there they were empty and no one came to clean up the tables. It looked like the plates with leftover set there for hours.

I so wanted go enjoy this place. The atmosphere is diverting and modern. The employees are attentive and friendly. The menu is extensive. As I walked by a table to order I saw what looked like perfect buttermilk pancakes a couple was enjoying, a good sign. I ordered a cornbeef on rye sandwich, that when I received it, looked exactly as the picture in their advertisements, a rarity. Unfortunately, the sandwich was awful. Dry, overly lean, boiled beef with very little "corning" flavor. I was surprised the sandwich only took 2 minutes to receive but now I understand. I wouldn't be surprised if they were pre-made. It was a letdown, a 20 buck let down with coleslaw. I bought some bake goods as well. I'm hoping they faire better than my sandwich.

We have seen this place each time, we have been to this plaza. I, figured lets try this business maybe the expection was too high. The experience at this establishment was beyond poor. Here are the reasons: 1st: If looks can be decieving, this business ranks the top. It looks nice and cozy on the outside. However, the inside says differently. The tables had full of plates and it was dirty. As for the atmosphere it seemed rather gloomy. It was certainly not welcoming as assumed when it looks cozy on the outside.

2nd: The employees were NOT AT ALL WELCOMING!! The employees who at the front counter were not helpful. I, had to ask I count 5 different times for our food I was completely ignored each time. I, noticed our order which was placed online was sitting on a shelf. I did point out to one of the employees of our order that was on the shelf. Again, she completely ignored me and gave ATTITUDE! I, took the initative to reach for the bag on the shelf. Since no one was assisting. The employee with ATTITUDE, grabs our order from the shelf then hands me the bag with ATTITUDE IN ALL!!

3RD: Our food was simple. French Toast Combo: The bread was bland and had unknown after taste. The eggs seemed like powdered eggs and tasted sour. The beyond sausage had burnt after taste. Corn Beef Hash Burrito With Potato Added: There was barely any corn beef hash. The little corn beef hash was burnt. The egg tasted sour and had unusual smell as if old and stale eggs. The potato which was added, it had pieces of ice crystals still in the potato. The Fries ordered also had pieces of ice crystals and few pieces were raw.

Overall: I, was highly disappointed with this business. I was hoping it would be an outstanding restaurant. Which was based on the cozy feeling on the outside. In which extremely DECIEVING!!! However, that changed very quickly after the experience. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS ESTABLISHMENT! NOR, WILL I EVER RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE! IN FACT I WILL BE SURE TO PASS ON, SPREAD THE WORD THIS BUSINESS IS BY FAR THE WORST!! THE PRICE IS NOT EVER CLOSE TO EVER BEING WORTH SPENDING!! NOTE: TO THE OWNERS OF THIS BUSINESS, I HOPE YOU LOSE YOUR BUSINESS!! THIS IS HOW HORRIBLE THE EXPERIENCE WE ENCOUNTERED. OVERALL, I HAVE NO SHAME SPREADING THE WORK. NOR, DO I HAVE ANY PITY ON THIS BUSINESS OR ITS STAFF!! LASTLY: ALL THE STAFF NEED TO BE HUMBLED!! NEED, TO BE SMARTEN UP!! THE ATTITUDE HAS TO GO, MAYBE ITS TIME THE ENTIRE STAFF NEED TO BE REMOVED. INCLUDING THE KITCHEN STAFF!! ANOTHER BUSINESS WORTHY SHOULD TAKE...

We usually go to Brent's but thought we'd give this place a try. It's no Brents. You enter the restaurant and immediately face big screens with the menu, which is large and takes 4 screens to display. Unfortunately, the screens are constantly changing so you can't really read the page before it changes. We asked at the ordering counter and were told to scan the QR code on the front door and read the menu on our phones. Ultimately, we discovered that there were laminated menus taped to the counter at the cash registers. Much better.

Things that were good: The burger, fries, and fountain soft drinks. The burger comes on a puffy egg roll, so as long as you like those you'll be happy. Things that were OK: The toasted onion bagel that I got with the bagel with lox and cream cheese. Nothing to write home about, but totally fine. tip - order the sandwich deconstructed and assemble it yourself. The pastrami sandwich was also OK...nothing great but fine. The issue was the 'kaiser roll' - it was that same puffy egg roll, not a kaiser roll. Things that disappointed: The matzo ball soup and salad. The matzo ball was mushy and kind of sour tasting, strange. The garden salad came with a balsamic vinaigrette as the only option. Really. Finally there's the New York knish. Awful. Inedible. Soggy on the bottom, mealy in the middle, and barely warm. I've had good New York knishes, and this missed the mark completely.

We asked the person at the counter a few questions, and while she was absolutely pleasant, I didn't think that she really knew what New York deli food should be so we didn't bother her with the knish, just left it uneaten on the table.

This place charges premium prices on par with places like Brent's, but does not offer table service, pickles and bread on the table, or, in our case, food that we would come back for. All in all a big...
