This cute coffee shop might look petite from the outside, bur surprisingly provided plenty of seats inside with the extra mezzanine. Looks like it's designed to accommodate people spending quite some time, almost each seat was complemented by power outlet. I spent about 90minutes on my visit and I could see it constantly being pretty busy.
Bringing the simple neighborhood cafe concept, they didn't offer too much food, but did have some pastries and light bites. They didn't only offer handful selection of coffee, but also tea and when I said 'offer', it's not just available but they played it seriously. I knew people were hyping about their Guinness Butterscotch Cream Latte, but I was in the mood for tea so decided to opt for their Hojicha Latte with almond milk. It was certain decadent with vibrant roasted tea taste, and it's great that it came unsweetened so you could customize it to your liking. The only reason behind my 4 stars was I ordered it hot but it was lukewarm closer to room temp the first sip I took...
Read moreI came here on a Sunday right before they closed on a recommendation from a friend.
Since I make coffee at home, I wanted to get something special, so we ordered
Iced Pourover Basha Bekele & Bekele Belaycho Pourover Granja Paraiso 92 Decaf Iced Americano Letty Bermudez Gesha
All of the drinks were amazing quality! I actually want to point out that the iced americano gesha was insanely good. I have never had a cup of coffee that tasted like a punch of fruit juice and tea. It had no bitterness or bad taste in my mouth at all. I kept reaching for it.
The other two were also great, of course not as good as the gesha, but still awesome. I drank them all on the way home to OC and they did not get worse in flavor as well. I came about 10 minutes before closing due to a long wait at Courage bagels down the street, so I wasn't able to try their food much. The bean selection here is also amazing! Overall 5/5 would recommend to any coffee enjoyers...
Read moreProbably thus far one of my favorite coffee shops that I have discovered since moving here? And to think they just opened too!
My partner got their blueberry yuzu cream soda which was amazing and the rosemary was a nice added touch. I got their pour over of the Gemini and later their espresso of the decaf. Both amazingly freaking good. Liam & Calvin were very nice. The atmosphere/vibe/ambiance was definitely a point for my partner. We sat on the 2nd floor where you can just watch iver the barista or people (in a non stalking way I hope lol) and everything was just aesthetically pleasing to the eyes and mouth? If I can even word it like that?
FYI of course be know that there's not a TON of seating. They do have seating outside too! Outlets are A+ with the seatings. Parking is only street parking from what I could find and see. Overall would love to come...
