Golfo De Fonseca Restaurant — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I would love to write good reviews But, it's because my husband and I, went to this restaurant several years ago and the food was alright. However, a few moths ago, my husband and I went there for some brunch or lunch. We sat at the bar, we ordered some food and drinks. Now, there was a smoothie drink or some sort of fresh juice. Once the waitress severed the juice, I stirred it around and noticed that there was a little dark piece of something inside my drink. I was trying to look at the bright side, It could be some part of the fruit and took a few sips. The flavor was off. I notified my husband, he double checked, it turned out the black little thing that was floating in there was a fly or a big fruit-fly. Looking in to the juice more, we found more of them. He called the waitress to inform her about it. The waitress said "It just a fruit-fly", like it's normal and it's okay for me to drink it. My husband was very upset, for it was not the answer he that he expected. He informed her that it was poorly made and concern for the health. Clearly, people in the kitchen saw that was a problem too. We ended up not eating there and left the restaurant. We were very disappointed.

The store is also very dirty, they should really really focus on hygiene and keeping it clean, or they will end up getting F rating...

My husband was there today for lunch, he asked a breakfast plate which was refried beans, 2 eggs, plátano frito, chorizo, cream and cheese and tortilla. He said the price is not bad, it was $10 but he waited exactly ONE HOUR for that. He says that while he was waiting, another customer was mad about the waiting time as well. Anyway, when he finally got his food and was going to eat, he opened the plate and A HAIR was all over the food. Disgusting. He put it on the side and tried to eat anyway because he had been waiting for too long and didn't have more lunch time, but the food had no flavor whatsoever, the only thing with flavor was the chorizo. It's a shame, as a salvadorian, taking an hour for that kind of plate is ridiculous. Yes, I get it, it's a restaurant and there are more customers but still ridiculous. He said he isn't...

The food here is pretty good. But the location is not so great, crammed and hard to find parking. Also, the presentation of the restaurant is pretty lacking. Its kind of filthy for example, a lot of areas, need cleaning up. I can only imagine how that kitchen looks. Only one server, one cook and one person charging you at front desk. I looked over the front desk and the coffee pot is all stained needing cleaning. Other areas as well, I can go on and on, but you get the point. Did I say the coffee tasted like plain water and not like coffee? very weak coffee. however the food is good, but watch out for the waitress accidently charging you 9 bucks for a side of 4 dollar pancakes. Also they charge you like 5 bucks for 2 eggs. Seems...
