Original Tommy’s Hamburgers — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Great spot to get some good food, the reason for the 4 star rating is because I had to come back twice to correct a order that had 1. missing food or 2. Not done as you ordered it. However, It is understandable for the cashier or cooks to get a little thrown off by my large order specially when I buy for my family of 5. I would highly suggest that you double check your order regardless yo the large line behind you and make sure that the food is done exactly how you ordered it. The cashier can get suspicious if you leave and then come back to report missing food, food done incorrectly is a little easier for them to understand but as for checking your food that's that's big deal whenever ordering drive thru anywhere. So if you order your cheese burger plain for your little one as an example, make sure that it only has what you wanted in it and nothing more. Other then that I LOVE coming once a month to order food from here. The BIG plus is that Tommy's is always open late vs other drive Thru food...

Came here last night with my family. It had been a long time since we’ve been here, so we made the trip out for a chili burger. It was a horrible experience. The guy taking orders was rude. He was in a black hoodie with NO mask. He had attitude the whole time. My order was ready and he was just standing in front of me while he was on his cellphone talking to someone. Took him a few minutes before he hung up to hand me my order. He didn’t say anything after he handed me the box of food. We had a big order so I waited to get his attention to ask if that was everything. He turned around, looked at me and said “OKAY, BYE” like I was stupid. We parked and everyone started eating their food. We got 5 burgers, all of them were still RAW. Everyone was so upset by the service and food quality that no one ate. We didn’t take it back because he wouldn’t have even cared. Our whole order 5 chili burgers, 3 tamales, 2 chili cheese fries and drinks all went into the trash because everyone was upset. So...

Never wanted to try this place. It seemed so sloppy, and to be honest it reminded me of a bad case of diarrhea (you know you've made that correlation too at one point). But the boyfriend is a big fan and finally convinced me to try it. I had two bites of his double chili burger (chili mustard only) and it was good, didn't eat more than two bites that night because I wasn't hungry.

Fast forward to a few months ago where I ordered my own burger (single chili cheeseburger) and it was delicious, different for me but different in a good way! Messy and that's still something that irks me but their endless supply of napkins makes it bearable! You can eat in your car or eat standing up on their stand up walk tables. Theirs parking, the lot on the opposite side is usually the best way to go since their lot gets full quick.

Went here two nights ago around 11pm ( you know this place is 24hrs right?) and it satisfied my craving! Check...
