Guatemalan bakery... on a shady street because of that weird druggie rehab (or whatever it is) like two doors down... so you always see someone begging for money, but hey, that's why you just buy and leave LOL. Anyway, their tamales are really yummy. The line is pretty long in the morning and sometimes I've been there around 10am and they're already out of tamales! ;( Their "rellenitos" are good. The girls that take your order aren't super friendly, but they do move the line quick. I buy white bread (called "pirujos") from here for Thanksgiving and every time I eat tamales as well. The bread is soft and yummy!! Their sweet bread is really good, too!! My dad used to buy bread from here when I was a little kid so I guess I'm used to the taste... and now that I'm an adult I go there myself and buy it for my family, too. They normally have only have sweet bread, but on the weekends, they sell tamales, and some other Guatemalan specialties such as taquitos, empanadas, chile rellenos and paches (potato tamales... sounds weird, but they're good). The only thing I don't like is the Guatemalan enchilada, but I've never liked it even when my grandma used to make it. It's just not my thing. For a quick order of Guatemalan sweet bread, I would recommend this place. Only street parking around so that sucks... sometimes I have to go around the block a couple of times before I find parking. Still, they get 4 stars from me because I like their bread and the owner is...

I was charged 6.50 for a breakfast sandwich and now I am almost getting charged double for the same product for going more frequently. Probably won’t be going back...
