Grace City LA — Attraction in Los Angeles

If you are looking to get plugged into a new and growing church and are seeking solid scripture-based teaching, I HIGHLY recommend that you check out Grace City LA. I've been a regular attendee of Grace City LA's weekly bible studies for the past three months, and it still surprises me to see how much I've learned and grown as a believer in this short period of time. There's a clarity and boldness in the presentation of the Gospel here that I've never really experienced elsewhere, and it makes a marked difference. It's truly remarkable.

Also, since Grace City LA is a new church, there's plenty of room for you to get involved and serve the growing ministry. Everyone is incredibly welcoming and down-to-earth, and their excitement and enthusiasm for the new ministry is really contagious and refreshing to see.

Lastly, the church is located at the western edge of downtown LA, which has recently been undergoing a lot of development and change, so I see a huge opportunity for Grace City LA to really make an impact on the immediate community--both the long-time residents and the newly arriving folks. There's a big passion on the part of the leadership team for local outreach and evangelism, so I'm really excited to see the transformation that Grace City LA will bring...

Anyone searching for a church really needs to add Grace City LA to their list of churches to check out. This is a new church and I have attended all of its predecessor churches in the space dating back to 2003. It has been a blessing watching GCLA get ready to serve the community. In a nutshell, it is a truly special church designed for the modern age that's rooted in the bible and isn't shy about going out to the city of Los Angeles to spread the gospel. Most churches I've been to usually emphasize only one or two of those things. GLCA seems to embrace all three. And their actions speak louder than words.

The church has a very strong emphasis on sound biblical teachings as well as local evangelistic ministries. This place is a real haven for those that want to grow in Christ and have the heart for the lost. Incredibly diverse group and very welcoming staff!!!!

Parking can be confusing at first but once you figure it...

This is how church is supposed to be as described in the New Testament. Sola Scriptura- They are completely faithful to The Word of God, uncompromisingly proclaiming it in all of it's fullness. The LORD is at the center of His church and this church recognizes this fact and gives all honor, glory and praise to Him! This is not your typical watered down, wishy washy, seeker sensitive, compromising, church that masquerades as some Sunday morning night club.

This is Church is also grounded and firmly rooted in the glorious Gospel of Christ. Along with keeping the LORD at the center of His church, Grace City LA is a light and beacon for living and proclaiming the Gospel. Pastor Steve is a very gracious loving shepherd who loves his congregants and protects them while leading them in the way of the LORD. You won't find legalism here.
