Today I had to pick up a prescription from the pharmacy where I have been a customer of for over 10 years as well as a loyal Ralphs customer for 30 years. I was told by Lillith in the pharmacy that I had to wait in line to get my husband's antibiotic even though the pharmacy would only be open for another 40 minutes. So i had to take my disabled husband who is on Dialysis and has dementia and pull him out of the bed so that I could plead with the other customers so he could get his antibiotic for his infected tooth. I confronted Lillith and she said that was the policy even though i was there last night and it was NOT the policy. So another Lillith came over and told me to calm down and then the store manager Melissa came over to Lillith and said my opinion doesn't matter and said that customers have been going to the pharmacy and then lying and going to shop. And she called me and angry person and proceeded to not open the door for my husband and we had to walk all the way around. I have never seen any of these ASSISTANT managers before but I have attached a list of all my prescriptions that have been at ralph's pharmacy and I will transfer them all as well as post on twitter, nextdoor, yelp and wherever else i can and NEVER shop at that Ralph's again. They are the worst human beings I've ever dealt with. How dare they be in customer service. I put my husband's LIFE in danger and they had nothing...
Read moreGreat sales almost every week (good sales every week, but not every week are they the organic, locally-sourced or coupon-tied to the type of products I prefer vs more commercial big-named national brands. I prefer the weeks when the sales include more of Ralph's Simple Truth (ST), Simple Truth Organic (STO) and Kroger store brand products, all of which are better-priced and, in my opinion, as good as or better than the equivalent national brands.
Additionally, the Ralph's mobile app is really very good for saving coupons electronically to your Ralph's or Kroger card and for locating products in the store.
Considering the busy intersection and heavy street traffic, the store and parking lotâwhich occupies the whole corner on Ventura Blvd from Coldwater Cyn stretching to the small side street east of the store, it's easy to exit the parking lot to go east on Ventura Blvd through Studio City to Universal City & Hollywood; or north on Coldwater Cyn Ave where in less than a mile Coldwater passes under U.S. Route 101 (aka Hollywood/Ventura Freeway) with entrances going west toward Ventura, east to Glendale and Pasadena, or south to Hollywood and DTLA.
In summary, good prices, good sales, good parking, good app, good store brand (especially the Simple Truth/Simple Truth Organic line), and a growing amount of locally-sourced and organic produce and...
Read moreRalphâs in the Palisades stands out as one of the cleanest and best organized grocery stores I have visited. The store is not only spotless but also extremely well laid out, making it easy to find what you need quickly without wandering around. In a community that has been through difficult times, this store feels like an important anchor point, offering both stability and a sense of normalcy. It provides essential infrastructure for the neighborhood, and you can feel that it has become part of the fabric of the areaâs rebuilding.
The shelves are consistently well stocked, which is not always something you can count on these days. The selection is excellent across produce, meats, dairy, and specialty items, with fresh options available every time I stop in. The team here is friendly, professional, and very efficient, making the shopping experience smooth and pleasant. Out of all the Ralphâs locations in the area, this one feels the most well managed and well run.
Having a Starbucks inside the store is also a great feature. The barista is excellent, crafting drinks with care and a personal touch that makes grabbing coffee before or after shopping a small highlight of the visit. Altogether, this Ralphâs is a real...
