Love Roberta's! LOVE IT!! The food, ohhhhh the FOOD!! Come hungry because there is so much food joy here. The Beesting Pizza is delish! Anything you purchase here you will want to "commune with" and enjoy for a long while. My friend and I will make the longish drive (2 1/2 hours), because the food is divine. There is indoor seating which is great when the weather is bad, but to truly have the best eating experience, try to sit in the outdoor eating area. There are beautiful trees and comfortable tables and chairs. The fresh air combined with the lovely food, and the beauty of the outdoors will enchant you, and you will enjoy Roberta's all the more. If the outdoor eating experience is not your thing, there is indoor seating. If you have small children, be aware that there are skeletons flying around above them/you. I couldn't figure out if they are always there or if they were left over from Halloween. It was March (2025) the last time we were there. If you are still hungry afterwards and can still find room the store next door sells very tasty sweet pies (not pizza, the regular kind). Robeta's is pricer than buying your chain-store pizza, and it should be. This pizza is amazing. If my friend were writing this critique, she could tell you all the chef and the owner and the style of the pizza. I love hearing her food/resturant stories, but alas, you are stuck with me. I can share that the body of the pizza is thin and the crust is light, and very tasty - Neapolitan-style, and wood-fired Italian pizza. (Sometimes we save the outer crust to enjoy later....it's that good). It's in a pretty tree lined mall, with a water way feature running through the mall. The mall is clean and devoid of trash, and the mall restrooms are clean and well maintained. Parking in the mall is not free, and while there are many, many spaces, finding a free space can be difficult. Be patient, Roberta's is worth it. 4220 Coldwater Canyon Ave, Studio City. They have a couple of high-chairs for your cbildren. There isn't a restroom in the resturant, but it's quite close to the resturant in the mall. They don't have ice for your beverages. They do have wonderful staff people, very knowledgeable and helpful. If you haven't been to Robertas's go and get the Beesting Pizza and two or three of their delicious sides. Your taste buds...
Read moreI recently had a delightful dinner I ordered the bee sting pizza, greens salad and the peach ceviche.. it is my kind of pizza, thin crust, not too much cheese, a few ingredients. The mix of hot and sweet is great, I love it. I do like a crispier crust but, would still order it again. The greens salad was delicious. It has an unusual dressing of anchovies and fresh herbs over my favorite lettuce, little gem, topped with bread crumbs. It’s a big salad, enough for two or three. Then the star of the show was a stone fruit dish (peach in this case, I don’t know if they use other stone fruits.) Peaches are my favorite fruit, and this was one of the best peach creations I’ve ever eaten. It was a perfect fresh peach cut in large pieces with little jalapeño slices and a few cilantro flowers, an unexpected flavor combination that really worked. The presentation was perfect, clean, fresh, colorful. It was enough for two so I brought some to a friend after and she was equally...
Read moreI must say for those who leave negative reviews or talk about fast food pizza as an alternative to this place? Get oudahere! You folks are why the Valley cant have nice things! As a former New Yorker I have been waiting 20 years to have a slice this good in LA and I have gone far and wide in search of. If you like Neapolitan Style this is as good as it gets here. Ordered a Margarita, Original Classic and a Bee Sting. I was stunned, almost weeping with joy.. somebody finally got their act together and is throwing some amazing PIEs local! As far as price, well welcome to LA. This aint mass pizza for the kiddies b-day party, this is pizza as a serious endeavor. Nice place in a renovated area with the BEST Neopolitan pie in the SFV. Let's hope they can keep it up but my first experience was that I felt like i was back home. Bravo...
