Walked in straight from getting off the job to watch the Eagles game, my second time here. Midway through the second quarter, the bouncer approaches my two top with an attitude and says, “You gotta get up. I need this table for a family.” The place is full but not at capacity, with other tables and situations similar to mine. I ask, “Why?” He responds, “You’ve been here and you haven’t ordered anything.” So I said, “No one has come to my table.” “You order at the bar. Get up.” was his response. “I’m going to order at halftime (which I did).” I asked him, ”If I needed to order to have the table then why didn’t you just say that, why are coming at me so hostile?” He tells me, “You’ve been here an hour and haven’t ordered anything.” I say, “Cause I’m not hungry yet.” He walks off saying, “Go order at the bar.” (As if to be allowing me to do so). I speak to the bartender Adam and relay to him this unprovoked exchange and he says he would speak to the bouncer (I have little faith much was said beyond a quick question and a response). My order comes and at halftime I need to go feed the meter. I placed napkins on top of my food, and drink, to which from my long time understanding, communicates to the bar, and it’s staff, that “I am not leaving, I’ll be back in a few.“, coinciding with my card and open tab still at the bar. 15 minutes later (because that’s how long halftime is) I come back in, my food, my drink, all have been cleared, and someone new is sitting at my table. I go back to Adam and ask “is there something I’m missing here? Why is it so difficult to watch the game and have some food at the table I’ve been sitting at the entire time?“. He responds,” I didn’t know you were gone, the wait staff just come and clear things off the table, can I get you a new order? You can take a seat at the bar.” I do that, the food runner that dropped my order off, I say to him, “could you bring me an extra ketchup?“ He nods yes, and never comes back, choosing to go attend to other patrons for the rest of the night. Fast forward to the fourth quarter late in the game, Adam is long gone and a new bartender has replaced him. With just over two minutes left in the Eagles game, the streaming set up for half the TVs showing it, goes out. The new bartender and the bouncer scramble for over 10 minutes attempting to get the game back on, resolving the situation with now just 15 seconds left. The only reason I chose to watch the game here was because of my first experience earlier this week. There was a woman of color bartending, and training a new hire. Both were attentive, conversational, and had a natural positive energy throughout the night, the exact opposite of this experience. Thanks for...
Read moreShout out to Adam who doesn't know how to make an AMF and also likes to try and start arguments with customers by stating "what's your problem".
$50 for three drinks and one of them wasn't even a full pint glass. When he was questioned about the half drink he got defensive and stated "you should know if you are a regular".
I had to explain to him that I'm not obligated to know when his happy hour ends or begins nor have I ever been served this drink in a half pint glass ever double or not and I'm from Vegas.
He proceeded to tell me that "I don't care where you're from, You're not there" And then proceeded to ask me; "what's my problem".
He is very inexperienced in customer sevice, and genuinely tried to start a problem after being questioned about a drink, that he never properly explained to begin with.
I understand you're just a bartender but just that alone should help you understand what to say and what not to say to customers. I believe Adam needs to be retrained on his customer service.
I wonder how many other customers have had problems with...
Read moreI have never been so disgraced in my Entire adult life, I came in wanting to have a beer and work on the phone a little bit before I had to get home, I come here often, bartender immediately came in and told me I'm too drunk to drink here and that I'm no longer welcome , I took myself and went out, Ive been coming to Rocco's for years, I have all of the memorabilia from all of your locations, this was very unfortunate for me to get kicked out just for being happy and elated I would suggest that the manager call me personally at the number I left with the bar Staff who kicked me out "Josh" was the bartender who threw me out and Alex is the name of the shift manager that I would have talk to have I decided To wait until He arrives Obviously I'm able to write this message so there could be no possible justification to remove me from the bar not even a full minute from the time I arrived until they forced me to leave.
