The ROCK Coffee House on Townsend Avenue is a tiny coffee shop that serve coffee and tea. Its interior design and layout are modest albeit limited space. Atmosphere is very chill; music isn’t loud so you can focus on your reading or work/study stuff. What I like about this shop is they support Rock’s community programs. I came today to grab an Iced Coffee. It’s perfect way to stay cool in a very warm LA summer. Barista was cool and professional. Menu items are decent. Seats are comfortable. Service is on point. Collectively, it’s a nice lil coffee shop. And I highly recommend this spot.

I finally made it over today after dropping kids off to school and arranged a vendor meeting here. Clean, warm and soothing interior. My Cortado was good (should have got a double shot!) Service was great and I'm stopping by for breakfast next time. Their prices are the lowest in the neighborhood, the high school kids love that. They support our community 100%, I thank you for that. I am definitely going back.

Been coming here for a long time - pretty much since they opened. I was looking for a location to film a short that I was directing. I came in to get coffee and fell in love withe their "loft"-looking location, friendly staff, and even the rec center next door. The owner Stephen and I have been friends ever since and he gave us a good rate to film here.

Coffee are terrific and they also have some tasty food items! They play good music too. The central wood-slab table even has grommets where you can plug in your laptop and charge your usb devices while you work. It is also never super crowded and you always feel welcome.

The rec center just next door (enter through coffee shop) also has tutoringn for students and Zumba classes. They also show free movies on some Fridays with free popcorn. There are chairs and comfy sofas there too so you can sit, relax and get lost in your laptop as you work.

Cannot recommend this place more! It is my ALL-TIME...

Well, as always the food and service is out of this world. They smile and greet you the minute you enter the door. I love what they stand and believe in...God. Their Breakfast and Lunch panini sandwiches are delicious. The beverages too. We found out about this place at a bible study we attended; the young gentleman was one of our speakers. He shared about it and how they raise funds to help the coffee growers and each other. God put it in our hearts to support the coffee house. Prayer for this coffee house business to continue for many years; even with the COVID 19. NO FEAR...
