Sam's Philly Steak — Restaurant in Los Angeles

After switching to T-Mobile just across the street, I visited Sam's Philly Steak Depot with my wife and 3 year old son. We had a lovely lunch. It is counter service but there is plenty of seating. My wife loved her chicken sub, and my son enjoyed his hot dog. A Philli Cheesesteak is my favorite food in the world, so I am very particular in my reviews. I would say this is a VERY GOOD cheesesteak. It didn't give me that orgasmic cheese steak taste that the very best do... but it was very good. I bet their other things are great too. There are free refills as well which is nice. It's not self serve refills though. The gentleman working there was very nice. There is a television in here too. I would definitely check this place out. ...

I was watching this place go in and very intrigued to eat there I went in last week and thought that the menu was pretty pricey but I figured it had to be a great salad and sandwich I ordered a super Philly chicken it has mushrooms and green peppers and cheese honestly it was just okay for $9 7 inch I also ordered a Greek salad $8 and was completely disappointed number one it was a very small portion that amount of money and number two no olives how do you make a Greek salad...

Food was great. loved it. But don't order dessert! Chocolate cake was not soft but gooey and gross. We each ate a bite and it made me and my kids sick all night. Yuck. Won't eat here again. To the owner- If you know that the dessert you have is old, please don't serve it to customers. That's just wrong. You should throw it away and buy a new one. That cake was so old it was slimy. Seriously? And you served that to me? I don't trust...
