I had the pleasure of visiting the Starbucks in Chinatown, Los Angeles, and my experience was nothing short of exceptional. On this visit, I decided to order the Mint Majesty hot tea, and I must say, it was a true delight for the senses. As soon as the steaming cup was handed to me, I was captivated by the invigorating aroma of fresh mint that filled the air. The tea itself was brewed to perfection – it had just the right balance of minty goodness and warmth, making it the ideal companion for a chilly day or whenever you need a soothing pick-me-up. What stood out to me was the attention to detail in the preparation of the tea, as it was steeped to release its full flavor potential. The service at this Starbucks location is impeccable. The baristas were not only quick but also incredibly friendly. They took the time to ensure my order was just as I wanted it. It’s always a pleasure to be greeted with a smile and a warm welcome when you walk in, and the staff here truly excels in that regard. The ambiance of this Starbucks is unique and charming. Nestled in the heart of Chinatown, it offers a blend of cultural diversity and modern comfort. The decor is a harmonious fusion of traditional and contemporary elements, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to sit back, relax, and enjoy your beverage while soaking in the vibrant surroundings of Chinatown. One of the things I absolutely love about this Starbucks is its extensive menu. Whether you’re a coffee aficionado, a tea lover, or in the mood for a delectable pastry, they have you covered. The variety of options ensures that there’s something for everyone, making it an ideal spot for catching up with friends or just having some ‘me time.’ In conclusion, I can’t recommend this Starbucks in Chinatown enough. It’s not just a coffee shop; it’s an experience. From the exquisite Mint Majesty hot tea to the friendly staff, and the wonderful atmosphere, this place truly has it all. It’s a must-visit for anyone exploring Chinatown or simply seeking a tranquil and culturally rich setting to enjoy their favorite beverage. I’m looking forward to my next visit, and I’m confident you will too!

One Starbucks is much like any other Starbucks, and the disturbing trend is that, when asked for water, they denied me, instead asking me for a purchase to get a complimentary water. Really? Come on, Starbucks! I mean, this is a company that primarily does it's business in America; however, the United States isn't where it pays business taxes to! Also, they have a cunning little trick where, come tax time, on paper, it looks as though they are chronically broke. The way they do this is that a new Starbucks opens just around the corner from the established Starbucks, and they need capital to get their store off the ground. So, in generous fashion, the established Starbucks lends the much needed monies to the new store-at a very high rate of interest, I should add. Now, once the new store begins to turn a profit, well, here comes old established Starbucks, wanting their money back, plus heavy interest. Thus, Starbucks liquid assets are continually tied up, as in: established Starbucks-"We've got no money to pay you, IRS, for we have lent it all to this fledgling company." And New Starbucks says "Oh, IRS, we've nothing to pay you with, for those rapacious creditors have taken all but our last coffee bean!" Clever, huh? So, why is it, again, that you cannot grant me a complimentary cup of water, or I cannot sit and use free Wi-Fi in proximity to your router inside the store without buying something? You, of the outrageously expensive prices that you literally pay pennies for-and all without being taxed in the grand ol' US of A? F*** you, Starbucks!

You know? I like the fact that this place actually has Dark Roast Coffee. Can't believe the number of other Starbucks that don't have it, or only give you a pour-over, which takes much longer, and it takes one person out of the cash registrar, and then holds up all the other customers. But not this place! Service is pretty quick. Lots of people inside, so it's a testament to how popular this place is. Honestly for a small space, it packs in a crowd but it doesn't feel cramped at all. Nice spot!

The two women closing tonight.. .. Karina and the asain lady who actually took her name off so i could not see it ..... were SUPER rude!!! Before it was closing time they were being rude urging me to leave because i went in to charge 2 phones and a laptop. They treated me like crap because i never got anything. Then a minute before 11 they yelled at me as if i were not listening to them and purposefully staying there. I was packing my stuff up and they saw that and still yelled at me. There were others who left after. Just cause i charged my phone for ten minutes and do not buy a new one i got tested very poorly. Very poor customer service. When I left, i wished them a nice night and they made a dirty face at me. I do not recommend going there when those two are working ...
