Their system is confusing and the employees aren't helpful. I probably went at the wrong time, however, I was treated very poorly. I ordered on the app selecting curbside. When I got there I parked at a spot with a sign that says curbside pick-up. The number for the spot was blocked by a piece of paper so I decided to go inside and ask because I didn't have all the time in the world. The gentleman inside told me they only do curbside at the first 4 spots. I told them then why is there a curbside sign in that spot then. He said I would have to wait until one of the first 4 spots opened up. I said okay, can I just pick up my drink inside since I am here? He said yes you can, you can go over to that window and they will help you. I asked "do I have to go outside or can I ask from the inside?" (since the window had 2 different sides). He told me inside is fine. I stood at the counter for about a minute, then a girl looks at me and yells at me to go outside. She gave me the nastiest look as well. I told her, "the gentleman over there told me I can come over here for my drink, I had curbside but the spots were full." She ignored me, but then I told her "I think my drink is that one my name is Frida." She then yelled at not to put my hands on the counter. I said "I was just showing you which one is mine." She proceeded to roll her eyes, grabbed my drink and threw it at me. The drink almost spilled. She didn't hand it to me, she aggressively threw it on the counter and basically told me to get out. I said "thank you so much." and she rolled her eyes so hard. I felt so terrible after this experience. I was so disappointed at the level of disrespect and unprofessionalism. I think her name was Briana but not sure. I went in at 9:45 AM, and don't plan on...
Read moreI’ve visited this Starbucks several times, and each time has its own unique vibe. There’s a subtle sense of character here that makes it feel slightly different from other locations – almost like it has a personality of its own. The drinks are consistent and up to Starbucks’ usual standards, which is always appreciated. The staff are friendly, attentive, and seem genuinely committed to making your visit pleasant, whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or settling in with your laptop for a couple of hours.
One of the strong points of this branch is the atmosphere. It’s cozy without feeling cramped, and there’s usually a nice mix of background music and conversation that gives the place a welcoming hum. The interior design has a touch of creativity and imagination, which makes the space feel warm and alive.
That said, the parking situation could definitely be improved. It’s not terrible, but it’s not the most convenient either—especially during busy hours. It sometimes takes a bit of circling around to find a good spot, which might be a downside if you’re in a rush.
Overall, though, I’d say this is a solid Starbucks location. It’s a great spot for a casual meet-up, remote work, or just a quick caffeine fix. The staff do a great job, and the little quirks of this branch actually add...
Read moreI was recently having a very "trying" day and decided to stop in at this Westwood & Ohio Starbucks for lunch, mainly because I could sit leisurely on the patio, eat my lunch, sip my coffee, enjoy some music and just relax for a few minutes between appointments. Well, almost as soon as I sat at my table, I proceeded to tip over my large latte and make a big mess of the patio (my "trying" day continued!). Two very nice patrons grabbed a handful of napkins and came to my rescue, and the barista prepared another coffee for me and brought it out to me. In a few minutes, a young lady came out with a couple of cups of hot water and a broom and cleaned up the mess I made. AND THEY ALL DID IT WITH A SMILE. They were all so pleasant and light-hearted and upbeat that they made my day - despite the spilled coffee incident. This Starbucks location at Westwood & Ohio in Los Angeles is so cool and just has a "community" feel about it all around. Whenever I'm in this area I will visit...
