I will say something differently. You go to a pricey restaurant like the cheesecake factory and the service isn’t good and the cheesecake factory is over priced. You can easily pay over $100 for two people at the Cheesecake Factory
You go to McDonald’s which is the most popular fast food restaurant and they make billions of dollars a year and your order is wrong half of the time and you have to fight for them to refill your french fries and you have to beg for additional ketchup From a company that boost our revenue of billions of dollars a year? It’s an excusable that these kind of restaurants still create problems for customers
You go to this Little Street taco stand and every time you order, it’s correct. The food is hot. The Al Pastore, is excellent.
I do think their prices are a bit high. A street taco is $1.50 and I think it should be a dollar. However, the burritos and the quesadillas are gigantic.
I believe in supporting small businesses because the quality is most times better. And I will support them because I get better service from my little Street taco stand than I do at McDonald’s, Morton’s or even the...

The original stand (shown here) still is active and crowded on Victory in North Hollywood, with two other locations in Sylmar and now Highland Park. Those hoping for deer tacos (venado means deer) might be disappointed, but the rest of us certainly will not.
The large vat of simmering parts available for tacos (11 total options) always looks so tempting, but anytime I find myself at the stand the trompo is too hard to turn down. Their tacos al pastor ($1.25) are just too tasty. The trick is to come very hungry, instead of stopping by after eating elsewhere in The Valley, something I can never quite accomplish.
The tromperos at all their locations are class acts and the rotating spit of meat is always well taken care of. Tacos are always juicy and perfect. A full table of condiments provides everything necessary to finish them off...
Read moreMy friend took me here last night after a comedy show. I tried a mulita asada, he had a variety of tacos and took a Cali burrito to-go. My mulita was delicious. I was instructed that I had to try the avocado salsa or go home. Not a disappointment!!! I also tried the pickled onions and pico salsa. They had a nice little kick to them, but with so much flavor. While waiting for our food, we talked to a guy who drove out from Rancho Cucamonga just for this taco stand. I told him that I hope he wasn't hyping it up and setting me up. It turned out, he wasn't. The food lived up to the recommendation and the hype. This is a great place for street tacos. If you're in the area or if you don't mind a drive to my high school city (NH Huskies represent), this is a spot to add to your foodie list. The staff were professional and personable, and the service was quick. The shared eating area was clean, I think the customers respect the place and others' experiences. I'm going to tell my hungry pregnant daughter about this place....
