What a cozy barn to suit one's quaint desires! From the enchanting decor right from the entrance to the inside of the place, we found delight in every nook and cranny of this place's interior.
Our little furry companion (bear-chan) was with us at every step of this experience nyah~ The menu had a good array of Korean dishes and compelling drinks. We spent a total of $20-30 each and our selection included two colorful drinks that matched our auras along with the rosé ddukbokki and shrimp fried rice. (Ur telling me a shrimp fried dis rice?! xD) The food and refreshments was pretty good and filled us up nicely.
After we were done eating, we enjoyed the ambience of the area and had a little bit of fun. We saw the owner's cute doggo which made our little bear friend happy too hehe. The tv screens were playing random kpop mvs but the worker was also kind enough to accept specific song/artist requests. We saw Red Velvet, T-ara, After School, Girls' Generation, and much more of our favorite girlies xoxo
We thanked and paid for our food and decided to embark on a journey to the unknown upstairs area :O To our excitement, the area was much more immersive than we expected and we spent time taking photos and goofin' around in there XP
After we left we went a short but sweet journey to a nearby park and frolicked about (and acshually touched grass bleppp) It was certainly a whimsical...
Read moreI will unfortunately never be coming back here again. I’ve been to Cafe the Barn twice now and both times the service was not so good. The servers here really do not pay attention to you unless you call for their attention. I want to talk about my recent experience there: The servers did not come take our order until I had to call them. The servers did not offer us any water until I had to ask if the water was self service. The food took about 30 minutes to come out. The food was pretty good but you can get this type of food anywhere else in Ktown. It’s not that special. Not even one server came to check up on us.
The servers were not rude but there really was not much service. If you don’t really care about these things, maybe this place is not bad for you. But for me, I am a customer that really values customer experience in...
Read moreWas here with a big family group for both dinner & breakfast during quarantine—they did a great job with their limited staff, hustling to accommodate all of our needs and provide us great service.
My reason for 4 stars, not 5, is that one of the servers didn’t cover their nose with their mask when serving us and other tables. Otherwise, their social distancing measures were great—individually wrapped cups, cutlery, disposable plates, etc.
Food we had from their menu and liked: -Tonkatsu -Beef Patty -Sweet Potato Fries (super thin, sweet, and crispy!) -French Toast (comes with blueberries) -Breakfast combo
We didn’t particularly enjoy the chicken gizzard.
Some other items we had and thought were okay: -Breakfast burrito -Teokboki (however you spell it) -Pasta -Red wine (resembled...
