Bae and I had a music industry function in the hills behind this stretch of street. I saw this place was newish and had amazing reviews. The spot is a little hard to find which is OK but unusual for this relatively dowdy stretch of neighborhood where the raining cuisine is still, in 2024, red sauce italian(!) Read moreWe ate here for the first time tonight and thought the food was exceptional. In fact, we managed to wolf down the first two dishes before I got a chance to take pictures. In case you were wondering those dishes were: the Vietnamese salad with shitake and tofu. Shredded cabbage and vegetables along with shitake and some lightly fried tofu- dressing seemed to be a warm vinaigrette that greatly enhanced the flavor. The taro crispy spring rolls were also amazing, accompanied by fish sauce and mint, carrot and jicama condiments. For the picture I did take, that’s what we came here for.
