Ordered to pick up via Postmates. Gave time to pick up @ 745pm. We arrived to see an empty restaurant with one gentleman in line. We told them that we were there for an online order and were told that they were just working on it. About 25 minutes later 5 people walk in and go through the line having their food made for them immediately. At this point I'm getting livid, and i start to ask about it. As I do, another lady came in to pick up an order and as part of their greeting, they advised the lady that they were super behind on tickets and it would be a few minutes and they'll let her know when it's ready. I was just about to tell them to just cancel the order and refund the money, but at that moment, the manager (I assume) came over and bagged up some burritos that had been sitting on the counter since we arrived. Everything was cold and dry when I got home. My wife and kids will never let me forget the day I chose Izzo's instead of driving to Chipotle. I've been a Chef for 18 years, and I know what a busy restaurant looks like. What I saw was a slow restaurant, staffed by people who have never heard of "sense of urgency", and led by someone who is obviously only there for a paycheck and has no feel or passion for the hospitality industry and making people happy by...
Read moreThe worker there had an attitude. The regular burrito has shrunk. My burrito was nowhere near the size of the display. The restaurant has stopped carrying regular tomatoes. I’m assuming because of laziness. They must not want to cut them. I asked for limes. The guy tried to give me lime juice. He had an attitude when I asked for limes. He said we don’t have any cut. I will have to cut some. It will take me awhile. I said I would wait. He proceeded to make another burrito for an online order. Then brought me one sad piece of lime. Smh. I would post a picture of my burrito, but do not know how. Trust me it was small. No need to cut it in half. The meat was dry and salty. The worker was something else. He was so rude. Sad. The food looked like it had been sitting there for quite a while. The location was dirty. One guy was cleaning the floor. So, that was good. I didn’t even get the queso for my chips. Ever since they changed hands they have gone down in quality and service. I used to love it, but now I don’t. I don’t know if it is just this location or not. I hope the owners read these...
Read moreThe guy who took my order had an air pod in the whole time. He kept telling me he could not hear me (and I'm naturally loud) but never took the airpod out. I said no dairy and he didn't hear and was about to put a handful of cheese in. Thankfully I caught it before he did. He forgot a few things and I had to keep reminding him of what I ordered. Then he came back at the end to pack up my stuff and had both air pods in that time, again I reminded him of what he forgot and he had to take out the airpod just to hear me. I said thank you and he couldn't even say "you're welcome" or "have a good day" just rude all around. It's disrespectful to help customers with headphones in, especially when you make the customer repeat themselves 5x... doesn't that tell you it's time to take the airpod out, bud? I'm a manager at a local business and I would NEVER let my team help a customer like that, very rude and embarrassing. You should definitely talk to your front of house staff about wearing headphones when helping customers. That's just customer...
