I am disabled veteran and live on a fixed income. To splurge on eating out is very rare. Last night my fiancée was craving bbq. She had not eaten jays in quite a while and suggested trying them. The minute she brought home the food and we opened the box we knew we made a bad choice. EVERYTHING was void of flavor. From the rock hard flat bread to the paper thin sliced pork that managed to somehow still be tough. I have lived all over our great country and have eaten countless bbq meals. This is by far the worst meal I have EVER had to endure. Please save your money and taste buds for better places. Any other place would have been a better choice. The liquid they call sauce tasted like vinegar and black pepper. The ribs tasted like they were a week old, the chicken had no flavor whatsoever, and the sausages tasted like synthetic bar-b-q Vienna sausages. Pick your favorite meat or do a 3-meat platter and you will go out full and with a smile on your face.
Sides...they have most everything you would normally eat with BBQ, but I always get a side of Potato Salad and another side of Potato Salad. Cole slaw is good, fries are good, beans are great...but I have been eating their potato salad since 1975...
Then save room for a fantastic ice cream cone to top it off ..
