Smoothie King is a life saver for me. Health issues had me underweight and (worse) malnourished. I keep track of which enhancers I get and verify that I am getting what I need. As with all things, some stores are better than others. Most are reasonably professional and have a decent product. A couple of ones make me question if I am getting the enhancers I order or are not consistent with quality. There are a few, however, that are so personable, so efficient, and so consistently excellent that I will drive several miles away to get to them because I KNOW my smoothie will be accurate, well blended, and HAVE EVERYTHING IN IT THAT I PAID TO GET. When the quality of your health--and therefore job, family, happiness, grandson--and even the age to which you can enjoy living DEPENDS on whether or not people are actually taking the time to add some powders, liquids, or herbs to your smoothie, being able to trust the people who assemble the ingredients IS ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL. I have that level of trust and confidence with Smoothie King #1080 on Siegen Ln in Baton Rouge more than I have with Any Other Store. I'm usually always around the Siegen Lane location because it is closest to my work, however I will go out of my way to come to the Bluebonnet location due to the staff that works at the Bluebonnet location being so friendly and the smoothies are always on point. There is a young man claims he is a manager, I believe he's Spanish. He works at the Siegen Lane location. He is extremely rude. He actually had the nerve to tell me every time I come through Smoothie King I'm a problem. On top of that he doesn't know how to make a smoothie either. His smoothies always have big chunks of ice in them. He definitely should not be a manager due to lack of knowledge on how to make smoothies and poor customer service skills. I will never go back to the Siegen Lane location because of him. I wish I could remember his name. He was so rude and definitely made me feel unvalued as a regular Smoothie King customer. I got to the window I was asked my order again (not a big deal, figured they were confirming the order) I realized she was taking my order again when I reminder her that I wanted protein added. She stated it was too late, the drink was already made.....I requested that when I first placed my order. She just said āitās only two of us hereā.
