While I have been there in person and it was wonderful; with a cool atmosphere, good beer and good food what I am really writing this review about it an experience that happened more recently. We live in Missouri and my beloved sister in law and family live in Louisville. It was her birthday on 5/5 and I called 12 Degree to see if they deliver beer, wanted to send my SIL a special quarantine birthday present. As it turns out they were not offering delivery. However, Tucker, one of their awesome bartenders offered to personally drop off some beer on his way home after his shift. I easily paid over the phone for the beer and he dropped it off with a hand written note allowing my SIL to have an awesome birthday surprise. I appreciate the service so much, especially during these crazy times. Can't wait to visit again and personally thank Tucker and the rest...

This place has been hands down the quintessential brew pub that accommodates specific needs. Be it the removal of dairy from a pizza, or the enlightened banter from the seasoned barman, it has it all. The ability to deal with stubborn patrons, the drunken fools, or the quintessential grumpy a$$hat, it all works.

Over the last few years we’ve seen the kitchen staff succumb to the ebb and flow of what it takes to make it in our current world. I tell you, right now, the staff is at their highest peak. Being able to make certain accommodations, and still deliver is the key to success. Never before has the kitchen staff been so sharp, and on the ball. It’s like they have found their groove, and refuse to let anyone disrupt it.

Cheers Gentleman, and Ladies. I intend to come back for various Belgian ale tastings, and perhaps a few bites to eat in...

We moved to Louisville approximately 1.5 years ago, and this place has become a frequent choice for us. However, our recent visit may have marked the last time we dine here. Our garden salad was a letdown, with just three half tomatoes and two cucumber slices with low-quality lettuce, all for the price of $10. The pizza we ordered, named "When in Roma," arrived later than the meals of two couples who had ordered after us, and it was a soggy mess. It tasted like dough soaked in salad dressing.

Regrettably, the quality of the food has noticeably deteriorated during our last two visits. To make matters worse, a colleague who processed our check took it upon herself to tip shame us in front of her coworker behind the bar.

On a brighter note, the quality of the beer has remained...

I partook in a brewery hop last weekend, and 12Degree was one of the places on the list. Despite the fact that I am not usually a fan of the Belgian style beers, I am very glad I decided to check this place out. The Walter's White wheat beer was definitely one of the best wheats I have tasted. It was smooth and had a great body to it. The Treachery was also quite awesome. Then, after deciding that it might be a good idea to get a bit of food, I tried the pizza, and it was amazing! The En Fuego Pizza had a bit of a kick to it from the jalapenos, and I would definitely recommend. If you are hanging out anywhere near Main Street in the Louisville area, I would highly recommend checking this place out. I will definitely be back the next time I head up there.

12 Degree is a delightful Belgian beer brewery on Main Street in Louisville. Their selection of beers is really nice, with “Bombabil” quickly becoming my personal favorite. 12 Degree apart has also their delicious food offerings. Their menu boasts a wide selection of fancy flatbreads, and their traditional Belgian frites (fries) served with mayonnaise (and ketchup) are simply mouthwatering. The staff at 12 Degree is friendly creating a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. On top of that, when the weather is good, their outdoor seating area provides a perfect setting to savor both the brews and the bites. I strongly recommend 12 Degree. Cheers!

Stopped in here for a drink and a nosh and had an absolutely lovely experience. The atmosphere is clean but homey and the food and beer were great (saw a lot of people getting pizzas and they looked incredible) - the way they've set up their tasting flights is really nice too - the base flight is 5 but you can add as many as you like on top of that up to 12. Nice to not have to get an entire second flight if you just want to sample one or two more (the soleil saison and foxx rougge were the stand-outs from my samples).
