Arby's — Restaurant in Louisville

The scenario: Friday, December 23, 2022. The world (at least this part of it) is engulfed cold. C.O.L.D. COLD. So cold that most businesses didn't open up.

We were headed north for the weekend and decided to get off of the expressway at the Brownsboro exit to get lunch. We found a number of restaurants were closed, but Arby's was open. Easy choice.

We were greeted by a gentleman named Pete, who took our orders. Pete was awesome and since we were the customers 2 and 3 of the three that were in the restaurant, didn't mind chatting a bit as we ordered.

Once our orders were placed and we go our drinks we sat down, only to be called up to get our food. I think they were listening as we ordered and were making our items at the same time. Literally 3 minutes to food-on-the-tray. The fastest service I've ever had at an Arby's. EVER.

The order was accurate and the food was hot. The jalapeño poppers were just-out-of-the-fryer hot. I've always loved Arby's Gyros and hadn't had one in a while, so it really hit my hunger spot.

This visit to Arby's was bitterly cold on the outside, but the food was hot and tasty.

Thanks and HIGH marks to Pete and whomever was working on this bitter cold Friday. I appreciate your dedication and willingness to brave the elements so other people could eat.

I ran the bell TWICE...

The service was very slow. I had 2 people in front of me and still took 9 min before I could just place my dine in order. Took another 12 minutes to get my food. I know it doesn't seem like a long time but watch the clock next time you order food when you are one of 3 people there. The place was dirty. About 1/3 of the tables were clear/clean to eat at. The drink area smelled funky, needed to be cleaned. The condiment area was disgusting, sauces splattered on the countertop and there weren't any paper cups to dispense sauce into, anywhere. And there weren't any napkins in the holders. There was a stack of 5 that was on top of one of the dispensers so I made due. Look, I know some things can get overlooked when you are busy making sandwiches and you have a line out the door, but I was 1 of 3 people there! Clean that place up! Extremely incompetent staff. I ask to dine in and it comes in bags to go. They don't offer me a tray and just scoff when I ask for one. Then my order was wrong. I asked for a BnC but no cheese was on it. I go to the counter politely say excuse me sir, someone looks at me and then turns away. I am frustrated and dont want to deal with your staff as I have 2 kids sitting at a table by themselves and just ask for a cheese cup. It took nearly 2 minutes to get a cup of cheese.

Then I attempt to buy some oreo bites and a childs toy, and I was told I can't buy just a toy, I have to buy an entire kids meal.

Will not be back to this location. Step your game up Arbys. If there was an option for 0 stars, Id choose it. I'm not asking for amazing service, just some service where people care about their jobs. Some serious help...
