⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A true hidden gem for ice cream lovers! I stopped by B.A.D Boys Ice Cream just before closing on a Sunday, and the vibe was just as cool as the treats. One of the owners was outside chatting with people and instantly recognized me from a previous visit. He welcomed me in with the kind of energy that makes you feel like a regular—even if you’ve only been once. The shop is full of bright colors and good vibes—just like the team running it. With 16 unique flavors on the menu, I couldn’t decide, so Steve stepped in with a recommendation: the Black Cherry Oat milkshake. It was unreal—creamy, rich, and full of deep cherry flavor, easily one of the best shakes I’ve had in years. The portion was super generous, and the price? Surprisingly affordable. You can tell they take pride in both quality and customer experience. The workspace was spotless, and everything felt fresh and cared for. Located just a block from 4th Street and down the road from UofL, it’s a perfect stop for students, families, date nights, or anyone just craving a dessert fix. Great conversation, great people, and even better flavors. Don’t sleep on this spot.

Don’t sleep on BAD boys ice cream. Great service + great ice cream = the perfect treat! They also serve delicious VEGAN oat-based options, which are not always easy to find. They were so kind to also offer me a sample of a new oat-based Oreo ice cream they were about to incorporate into their rotation… unsurprisingly, delicious. We’re thrilled to have this hidden gem so close by and looking forward to visiting again with our pup for a pup-cup and grabbing a pint to-go!

I’m always looking for a good ice cream shop when we travel, and this one did not disappoint!! I got the peanut butter cookie dough (award winning recipe), and my daughter got the banana cream pie ice cream. We were both very satisfied with the ice cream and the friendly service! We will be back on return trips to Louisville.

The ice cream, customer service, and overall experience was amazing. We went in with a group of 30 and they did an excellent job of giving the group of girls all of the samples they wanted and then quickly getting them the ice cream choices they made. The ice cream was very creamy and delicious. The waffle cones were also great and everything was very friendly. We were from out of town in for a field hockey tournament and they took great care of us. It is tucked away in a neighborhood, but...
