Their food is great, but they charge so much and are stingy with sauces. There is also consistently a wait.
Update: I have been here many, many times at this point and am updating my review to be 3 stars. The food is still amazing, but the management is ridiculous. I ordered some steak hibachi that came out with some pieces of steak that were completely raw inside. Not even rare, it was to the point where the meat was purple inside. No big deal, I thought, I'll just ask for a different order seeing as how apparently I've been eating rice and vegetables that have been covered in raw meat. What ensued is what caused me to change my review. First, they refused to change my rice because I'd eaten some of it at this point (before noticing). Then, after explaining to two more people, they finally replaced the exact amount of rice I had not eaten yet. In the meantime, instead of getting new steak, they proceeded to take the previously raw steak and cook it far beyond well done. The manager later came by and asked how the food was now. I said it was alright, but overcooked now. She said sorry, smiled, and...
Read moreI went for the first time today and ordered their "Haru Maki" fried spring rolls for an appetizer, and Hibachi Chicken with extra vegetables for lunch. With a drink my lunch was almost $23, and on top of that there is an automated line asking for a tip for someone who just took my order, which I find a bit over the top. Regardless I didn't give a tip, partly due to the overall cost of the meal.
As to the food, the Haru Maki was OK, though I will probably not order it again. The hibachi portion was large and the vegetables were very good, but my chicken was WAY overcooked to the point it was dry and chewy, with a crisp side on it. Truthfully it was dry enough that I would need to either add some veggies to it when I took a bite, or take a drink while I was chewing to get it down. VERY disappointed, but as I love hibachi and this was my first trip, I will likely give them a second chance at some point in the future. I also love sushi but did not try any...
Read moreAMAZING! My first time visiting and I will be back! I went on a father daughter date and my dad ordered the rice and veggies with chicken, shrimp, and steak. The cashier rang it up and another girl close by informed us it'd be cheaper if we did the fried rice combo... Which is the exact same thing just with more veggies (mushrooms, onions, broccoli, carrots). The cashier rang it up differently than she had before and it was like $5 less! I obviously ordered the same meal. Lol chicken, steak, AND shrimp... Why would I pass that up? Lol the Yum Yum sauce was $. 50 a piece. We each ordered a smoothie and sat down. The food was out in less than 5 minutes. Maybe even 3 minutes and it was TOTALLY worth it! Everything was good and the portions were huge. I got full and took home a medium sized to go box. My meal and smoothie (blueberry pomegranate)...
