This is Louisville. So I must start by telling you what this space use to be. Initially it was a Chase bank. Then it became Haraz, then Moka & co, and now Bayt Al mocha. Since it’s become a coffee shop, this space has been impeccable. The name on the door may have changed, but the coffee options and the inviting space has not. The interior is so open and pleasing to the eye. There’s plenty of space to work from home have a meeting or just spend time with a friend. The desserts are impeccable and you have your choice of options. I was going to order two coffees but decided not to when my two pastries were already $24. I was shocked at the price. I got two Dubai croissants and the croissant wasn’t even flaky, it was a bit rubbery, and the chocolate on top is definitely just Nutella out of the jar. The inside filling wasn’t bad, but for the price I expected it to really blow me away. Like I said, I can’t speak for the coffee, but the prices are outrageous and should be looked at to be modified. The desserts looked lovely but I opted for savory, ordering one beef and one veggie taquito and an iced pistachio latte. The taquitos were rubbery and while the veggie filling was very good, they gave me a cheese rather than the beef I'd ordered, which was bland and tasteless. The latte was good but overly sweet to my taste with an artificial electric green color. The older woman who handed me the latte was very pleasant. Disappointing...
