Bearno's Pizza Fern Creek — Restaurant in Louisville

We had a fantastic time at my dads surprise birthday dinner. Literally still in shock at everyone who made the time to come out. I don’t think we could’ve had a better turn out. Seeing my dads face light up when he saw everyone, especially his cop buddies made me so happy.

Very disappointed in Bearno's Fern Creek on the other hand. The unfriendly,rude waitress and owner (Jeff Eberenz) is mind blowing.

Story time :

I was told I couldn’t order two beers at once because the owner of this Bearno’s is a cop….

Everyone who knows me knows I absolutely respect law enforcement 10000%. But what did that have to do with me ordering two beers?

Fun fact : Our party was 15 retired cops ….

I was simply ordering one for myself and 1 for my stepmom.

Come to find out I was denied two beers at once because I was “double fisting” according to the owner Jeff.

An hour later two buckets of beers were ordered no questions asked….

The owner has been called today to talk about what happened last night because honestly it was embarrassing at how one server in particular was acting. The owner was told our party was yelling, being rude and demanding etc. to the waitresses. Which is in fact, incorrect.

No one was rude. We were all very understanding of how large our party was and how it would take a little longer to serve us. No biggie…. Our party was also VERYYYY generous with the tips when it came time to pay. If we were so rude would myself, my sister, step mom and my daughter stay after the party and help the server clean up the ENTRIE table ..? Literally scrapped plates to help out.

I don’t think so.

My mind is blown at how we were treated and also blown at how Jeff talked to my father today on the phone.

I will say the server (Samantha) that eventually took over our table was amazing once everything settled down. I personally thanked her multiple times and so did everyone else. And she was very well taken care of as well.

I live in Jtown and ALWAYS order from Fern Creek because I've always gotten better service and food quality from them. I order from there like once a week. I work in a restaurant and I don't like to complain because I know things happen. I'm very ,very disappointed in my most recent order from them.

I was placing an order online. I was ordering the spaghetti, baked with cheese, and wanted to add fried chicken to it. The option for chicken didn't specify if it was grilled or fried. BEFORE I placed the order I called the store. The girl who answered was really nice. I explained to her that I was about to place an order online and wanted to make sure the chicken option was for fried. She told me she thought it was but wanted to put me on hold to go and make sure. After a brief hold she came back and confirmed that it was fried chicken. I placed my order, selecting 3x chicken, which I thought was me adding 3 fried chicken strips to the spaghetti. Delivery driver was nice as always. My order came within the time it said. But when I opened my spaghetti it had a bunch of cut up grilled chicken on top of it. When I called the store back, the same girl answered. She was apologetic. I mean, I had talked with her before even placing the order, to ensure what I was ordering was fried chicken. She had even placed me on hold to go and confirm this. But the manager that I was passed to, basically said it was my fault because I had ordered online versus calling the store. He didn't offer to make it right. Just told me next time to call them....but I DID call them! Before I even ordered! I'm just like WoW. It'll be a while before I order...

I had a hankering for pizza for a week or so, I saw that all the local Bearno's were doing a fundraiser for the officer that passed away. I stopped in about a half hour before close. They had been extremely busy due to the public's support for the officer so they had run out of pizza, which is a good problem to have. Unfortunately I had already paid for my pizza, they offered to exchange my pizza for sandwiches and wings, but I was craving delicious pizza. I suggested getting a pizza tomorrow and they immediately agreed to that arrangement.
