Graeter's Ice Cream — Restaurant in Louisville

Really poor costumer service. Just letting you know that they close at 10pm on Monday night. Even though it says 11pm. Me and my boyfriend walked in 10:03pm didn’t see the sign on the door. Because on google it says they close at 11pm. So there was a costumer still checking out. We just wanted simple 2 small ice cream cups. While the guy is making it, the cashier girl looks and yells at us: “Are yall paying with cash or card” we were so confused and said cash. And she just slammed the cash register and looks away. I said to my boyfriend, “lets go I don’t want it anymore.” I felt really uncomfortable and disrespected and it ruined my appetite we only stayed cuz my boyfriend wanted one so bad. She was staring at us with a dirty look the whole time. She could’ve said oh we are closed when we walked in. Then it’s okay no problem. That girl shouldn’t be working there it’s really good ice cream but employees make the business go. So...

Poor management. One associate rang us up told us our total after our rewards was 3.00 then a manger came down and cancelled out the transaction rang it up again our total was over 6.00? When we asked why? We where told we had an attitude and would pay 6.00! Had someone just explained why the difference we would gladly pay but instead the inexperience of the manager just had her attack us. Even saying she had the right to say we had an attitude. Another associate even came over and tried to calm her down, but she was adamant we pay. We did, but no ice cream is worth this treatment and we still dont have a clue what we paid for.We weren't looking for something free just an explanation! First time being at his location and I must mention Lizzie. Her smile, energy and greeting was awesome. They were super busy, Line almost out of the door, and she made my night. She Let me have a sample of Mocha Chip and it was delicious. My new favorite along with Mint Chip. Even though the place was super busy, Lizzie just kept doing her thing. A multi tasker with the best customer service and great attitude I’ve had in awhile. You never know what someone is going through, so Lizzie keep spreading your light to others, like you did for my family and I tonight. With her permission, I’m posting her picture. So deserving.
