Working in the street directly in front of the establishment, we were constantly bombarded with smells and promises that the food just couldn't keep. I gave them 3 chances to impress me. I REALLY wanted to like this place.
First chance, I tried the meatball sandwich. It was like eating a pizza crust football with 4 meatballs and a little sauce inside. The meatballs had a decent enough flavor, NOT enough filling at all. I came back from my lunch break feeling like I had just been working overtime by eating that thing.
Next visit we tried the pizza by the slice. It's hard to screw up pizza, but they perfected their craft at it. The pizzas are already premade, sitting there for who knows how long...drying out. You choose which slice(slices if you're wealthy) you want, they throw it back into the oven to reheat, further dehydrating your pizza jerky. You pay the exorbitant price for it and spend the rest of your lunch wondering if you should attempt to reconstitute it with fresh sauce, or give it a proper burial.
Lastly, I had a salad which was actually decent and we both had the ravioli. The meat was devoid of flavor. The marinara was just a step above mediocre....

Before hanging my husband asked me what I wanted to drink. I told him to wait until we got there so the ice wouldn't mlt. Once there my husband went back to grab the credit cars and I approached the counter. A man with an accent asked " How can I help.you ma'am. I told him we were there to pick up an order. He repetd our order. I confirmed and said " Can we add tea. It was 15 min until close. He said rudely "we are closed." I said again website says you are open until 4pm. He said again we are closed. I said "Sir I didn't ask you if you were closed. I if you could add a tea. He then rudely said again we are out of tea. Which was fine. He was from the beginning trying to close early. I said I cancel the order and walked out. He didn't want business. He said he was the owner but I really...
Read moreI dont know what the rest of these reviews considers authentic but these slices are average as hell and not authentic to any place I've ever been to. If it's supposed to be authentic Italian, that's a lie because the only thing authentic Italian are maybe the guys that work there. The pizza was just okay but costs 6 bucks a slice. That's crazy. Maybe if they were the size of a New York slice or truly authentic to Italian style pizza, maybe the price would be justified. But they serve on paper plates, dont have free water (I guess that's authentic to italian/European style), and the ingredients are all generic (ie canned mushrooms). Come on Luigi, you can do better if you try just a little. I had such high expectations for this place as their advertising and location is primo! Highly disappointed. I bought 2 slices for 12 bucks and they were average at best. Go somewhere else for authentic or for value. This...
