MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Louisville

I summed up my impression as 'High School Cafeteria Pizza'.

I went to High School in the late '60's, and I don't think they had pizza back then. And I haven't been in a High School cafeteria since then. But somehow those are the words that came to mind.

More words: Average, mediocre, not even close to grocery store frozen pizza.

The staff was friendly and eager, though the facility was a little messy. It's kind of a Subway or Moe's of pizza - tell them the size, pick the ingredients, they sprinkle (not pile) it on and cook it (quickly). All that's fine... it's just not that good. And this comparison is unfair to Subway or Moe's, where the food is better.

This place is simply outstanding. It is evident that they prioritize quality, with ingredients that taste as if they were harvested within the past few days. What's more, they offer an abundance of nutritious options, featuring salads brimming with wholesome leafy greens as opposed to the typical, nutrient-lacking romaine and iceberg lettuce. The cauliflower pizza here is top-notch (PERFECT texture and crispness), easily ranking among the best thin-crust pizzas I've ever tasted. I visited this location 3/29/2024 at 2:00pm. The service was extremely poor. I felt extreme discrimination by the man in all brown as well as the man with blue hair. I thought the vibe would be cool. I told my co worker it's great pizza and vibe in Colorado Springs. After are meeting we decided to stop. Unfortunately it was not anything like COS location. Dirty windows and floors and just flat out rude unprofessional staff. Was not greeted in any manner whatsoever. I was glared at like I was not wanted or welcomed. There is no reason for hate it's sad how bad people discriminate today. I hope this behavior is not something that MOD pizza allows. If so I ask all my LGBTQIA+ family to avoid this company.
