Edit my previous review since I have dog. I have to say about this dog bar since it is a little complicated for me. I meant my dog had been there before as I can't recall if my dog was behaving well there with her previous owner because this owner pass away.
It is little hard to enjoy the drink when you have to watch your dog if you are visit there for first time with your dog and also due to the layout area. I meant my dog was fine there until the small dog come in that cause chaos. I am not sure about the whole situation of who started it because i am aware that if you touched my dog while my dog is kind of start to dominate the small dog for any reasons. I prefer that bark ranger not touch it. I am not sure if bark ranger had proper training of break up the fight ir whatever it is. I had to take my dog home because she kind of attack or being over do. But it is important to know that my dog is in need more training and work on it to be more social able so that I can come back and enjoy it so is my dog.
It is important to be aware of your dog and be good social able. And also just be watch out for small dogs for a good reason. Also in other additional, this bark ranger was kind of not nice toward to my dog. He always kept watching my dog but it didn't mean anything. Yes, my dog's hair (hackles) got raised up because she was so exciting. Also I know that she dig out the ice out of the water because she was exciting. I don't know what to except her to behave at this dog park. Dogs does play. I guess my dog need proper training more.
So I won't be likely back for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSadly we are done with our visits here. I have had multiple experiences with one particular staff ābark rangerā being incredibly rude. First I watched him get angry with a dog for coming after the mulch sweeper. Itās a dog, theyāre going to be curious. Luckily it was not my baby because I probably would have lost my mind. Then the last time we visited my youngest was playing with up some of the others, she enjoys being chased and tries to get everyone to play along. She is incredibly active and hyper- and Iām ALWAYS watching to ensure sheās not going to hard or running too fast to hurt herself or anyone else. Their was one ranger who helped pet her to get her to relax when she was on a hard case of the Zoomies, but the other one who I have watched time and time again be so hateful towards other dogs grabbed her and told me to put her on a leash (I have absolutely no problem with that, but if you were paying attention you could have attempted to spray her or pet her or literally anything if you had a knowledge of dogs). I did already speak with staff about the issue. Just a fair warning to others. Also had an issue a month ago with one of my dogs getting diarrhea a couple days after visiting, and then just now recently the other one with the same. Vet chalked it up to a GI bug and itās just not worth a $600 vet trip each time after going nor the stress or anxiety of feeling like the employee doesnāt even like the type of place...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDo NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! Within 10 minutes of signing up for a membership, my dog was attacked by another dog. My dog had not provoked the attack. An attendant immediately came over to check on my dog and said, oh thatās an aggressive dog that but him. We made the owner leash him. I said, wait, you know this dog is aggressive and you allow it to be here?! She said, we have a 3 strikes your out policy. I said, my dogs tongue is bleeding. She said, well the tongue does bleed a lot but it heals quick. There was no remorse. She only seemed upset that I was mad. I made them comp my drink that I had just gotten. This dog is allowed to return. They said they will make a note on his account that he attacked another dog. My dog now has a hole in his tongue now where his tongue was bit by the other dog. Yes it will heal fine. But I wonāt go back. Aggressive dogs should not be allowed after one strike. Itās not ok Iām appalled and disgusted that dogs are allowed to attack another dog 3 times before they are not allowed back. Iām disgusted that I was made to feel like the problem when my dog was the one attacked. Stay far away. Most the dog owners sit and drink and want nothing to do with watching their dog. And the rules are too lax if your dog gets attacked.
I also want to note that I take my dog to the city dog park at Cherokee daily and have never...
