The new quills location is quaint. This spot has been renovated by quills. The modern interior is inviting for folks to work, meet and have a cup of coffee. You go in and order by the bakery case. The menu is there as well. They have specialty drinks listed as well. You order and they make the drink in front of you. They have options for mugs if you are staying in the location for your drink. I got the churro latte, a seasonal item. It was beautiful. It had a Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor to it in liquid form. There is ample seating, and the tables are fitting if you are meeting a group, or just hanging out with your computer. This cafe has been open less than a week and has already easily become my favorite in the 'Ville. It has the same unsurpassed exceptional coffee and friendly service we've come to expect from every Quills, while being situated in a beautiful, recently-renovated older building. This gives the location lots of character and an abundance of natural light provided by the large, early 20th-century-style windows and doors, which also provide wonderful views of the beautiful Clifton neighborhood. Some of the best coffee I've ever had!!! I had come to the conclusion I didn't like matcha. I was wrong. I just hadn't tried a matcha from quills. My husband and I went sat and sun morning while in town for a weekend trip. Top tier energy. Starting our morning off by stopping in, both times we walked away with lighter spirits. I will be day dreaming about that iced peach matcha latte for days. I appreciate the inclusivity and how vocal they are about providing a safe space.
