This was the Third time I tried without success to get service at Taco Bell Outer Loop just west of Jefferson Mall. Tonight after checking the the internet for hours, I and two other vehicles arrived at 12:40 am, just prior to their 1 am Close Time. The car ahead of me sat at the speaker to place their order for about minutes, then honked their horn to try to gain attention. As I sat waiting to be next to order, I glanced around noting that Taco Bell's exterior lights still shining. And the sign lit up. The indoor dining room lights still glowing? Next I saw the car ahead pull forward to the pickup window. So I pulled into to spot to place my order.! Unfortunately I soon noticed the car ahead of me quickly dart and leave without getting anyone's attention. So I started blowing my vehicles horn as I moved on to the pickup window, not letting up on the horn until I reached the window . At this time I was very angry with dismay as once again I had been lied to about when service is available at this particular store. Well I was able to get their attention. It was a middle aged white female with dark hair and an African American Male with a slight ponytail. As I opened my car window the female was lurking unwillingly st me while I was looking at my watch and said, "Hey it is only 12:45?" She very rudely informed me while she communicated with me through the window as she refused to dare open it? Then she quickly turned around putting her back to my face as she walked away to the cash register on the left side of the dinein counter and pretending to work with the paper roll to distract me. Because she REFUSED to volunteer her name or any other identifying evidence that I told her I was calling to report. As soon as I screamed to attract her attention, was then that the gentleman walked to the window to ask me what I was asking. I I. I I repeated the question again! "May I please ask your name so I can report this incident?". At this time the male employee turned around walking back to the cook table area. As he was walking he was staring at the female as if he was waiting for her to answer my question. Then I realized she had to be the Manager. This incident made me very angry, sad and very disappointed in the employees.actions? If you advertise a time, item, sale or any transactional public notices, you are then expected to meet the needs committed or you are putting such obligation in breach with your Paying Customers, myself included. The female was unprofessional as her only words to me right before walking away was, "We only have two people"? So exactly what does that mean? Boy in my fast food days wirkng at McDonalds , Pizza Hut, and Chuck E Cheese's restaurants we as employees were made to actually do work. Actually we did break a sweat often. We were taught Morals, Dignity, Ethics and the reasons we had to work. All of those things built each of us into very loyal, funloving employees oroud of our work which made us proud of whom we worked for. Overall giving us very good self esteem as we were given the tools we needed to enable our next just b 8r venture in our lives. I do not understand the generations after the baby boomers? They simply do not have the desire to work anywhere? It seems as if they feel loved ke they are owed something in theit lives? Well for sure the female was for sure a baby boomer, the male for sure a Gen X? But this is not the first time I have experienced poor quality, service, lack of any eagarness to perform a good job in any way? Just last week here at this location, it was about two hours before quitting time. Well I madev it to the speaker to order and a female speaks out to me uttering the phrase, "Welcime to Taco Bell, we are out of Meat, may I take your order?". I looked at my watch and thought wow I can't believe they are not making any fresh meat? When I worked, that was considered to be an emergency! Read moreMy employment schedule & sleep patterns have me eating at "later than the average" times pretty regularly. I depend on Google Maps to help me find options near me at any given time that are open. Monday, 8/29/22 after working 2nd shift I looked up places near me to eat and came across this TacoBell location which listed "1:00am" as is closing time. I pulled in (followed closely by police) assuming I'd be going through the drive through as usual but before I reached the ordering kiosk I was hit with 🍒 and berries 🚔 The police approached with flash lights shining into my face and car, wondered why I pulled into this restaurant's lot, as if it were just to get from out of in front of them & not because I was there to eat.... that this TacoBell being closed at this hour (after 11pm but well before 12:00am) was widely known information. I showed them my "Maps" app that was still pulled up with 1:00am as the closing time. After checking the regular credentials I was released with no issues, tickets, or warnings. I drove through the drive through and looked inside the windows. Empty. I Definitely think it's important for businesses to update their times of operation, especially since things are always changing since Covid. It can be the difference someone getting to eat on a short lunch break or even the difference between an easy going night after a long day or an unessessary traffic...
Read moreWow, just Wow!!!! To any and all that work in service to the community. I had two horiable experiences today getting food one at A&W and Taco Bell. Taco Bell really pissed me off! Went threw drive threw ordered our food it was all correct on the screen and she even asked us if it was. We get home and food was missing so I called and explained it to her. She told me I had to come back in to pay for what was missing and asked her respectfully what happened to Coustomer service, she said she understands hahaha no she does not understand! I called back and asked for a full refund, we drove back there and explained to The Manager that she could have saved a Coustomer by just simply making it right and now you have not only lost out on 20.00 of food that will be thrown in the trash you have also failed by losing a costumer. Of course we are only 3 customers no big deal! But you have failed yourself as well! It's a big corporation and maybe you plan on working there the rest of your life, but if we are in costumer service we need to practice good Coustomer service.
