O1/4/2025 7:17 PM I placed an order with "Liyah" that turned out to be Order #55. (1) Large Steak that had some ingredients deleted, (1) Medium Fresh Cut & (1) Large Lemonade were requested. The young man who was last to handle my food was gloveless and doing other tasks such as cash handling & credit/debit payment processing gave me the purchased food. "Liyah" the order taker presented and had to be reminded to give me the Large Lemonade I'd purchased. What was ultimately uncovered is that she'd rang (1) Large Soft Drink instead. I assured her that it was not a problem, and asked what was the additional amount I owed. After her failed attempts to solve the matter, she told me I would have to just choose from their fountain soft drink options because the order is now complete. I respectfully asked she use critical thinking to come up with a resolution of a problem that was her error, because fountain soft drinks aren't appeasing to me. Next, I tried appealing to her sensibilities that an appropriate service recovery would be to give me the Large Lemonade I ordered and she/Penn Station should respond ethically and correctly and take the loss on the difference in pricing. This statement caused her uninterested demeanor to change. I was told she wasn't going to just "give away free food". Luckily, there was another staffer who was able to discern the correct and ethical thing to do is to furnish me the Large Lemonade that I requested when my order was placed. This is one of the most egregious customer service experience I've ever had. Her actions another staffers disregard of safe food handling is a reflection of the the organization's leadership performance. Clearly, meeting and exceeding customer's expectations aren't an organization value. Accountability should always start with Senior Leadership and then trickle down. By the way, after imaging the various things and surfaces the ungloved food handler probably touched; to eliminate the risk of illness from improper food handling - I took an "L" for the 23.71 I'd paid and tossed my...
Read moreJust went to this location, ordered 2 large subs, 1 small sub, 2 large fries, and 1 small fry and 3 large drinks and paid 73 dollars. My sandwich was covered in grease. The tomatoes on all 3 of the sandwiches ordered tasted rotten and the fries were far from fresh. I cannot believe that it cost 73 dollars for food we ended up wasting. We have been to Penn station several times and never been disappointed like we were today. We usually go to the Dixie location, and it has never been that expensive. I dont see where they think it's ok to charge so much for 3 meals. It also sucks that you have to buy every item separately. There is no option to buy a meal.so basically I paid for nasty food and empty stomachs. Penn station should be ashamed of themselves. Hell for that price we could have gotten a damn steak at Texas roadhouse. You all advertise fresh food and fresh cut fries, that definitely was not the case tonight. The fries seemed likeey had been blanched.. (meaning reheated because they sat too long) the store was very empty and now I know why. I wish I could get a refund. Dont waste your money at this restaurant.. you will be disappointed and you will waste your money. instead if a full stomach you will get a stomach ache. Definitely...
Read moreI was at the Elizabethtown ky restaurant. It wasn't busy, got are food. I asked for lettuce and tomatoes on the side. Had to go a get those items. Then a family that was sitting beside us complained because there was a hair in the sandwich. The employees stood at the counter staring at the food like it was her hair. One of employees has curly hair with no hair net only a hat. His hair hanging over the hat. The cook (girl) with long hair only had her hair pulled up, not in a hair net or hat. The workers finishing the food the was not wearing gloves. Another employee was touching his face then didn't wash his hands afterwards. Very sad to see this in a restaurant, I work at a restaurant and we can not serve or cook any food without a hair net or hat on and hair pulled back off the shoulders. Not a happy person with the restaurant, maybe the last time I eat here. The restrooms needed to be attended, very sad. This place was my favorite place to eat, going to have to think again before...
