Valley Dairy Freeze — Restaurant in Louisville

I have been going to dairy freeze for years but today I was beyond upset for multiple reasons! Me and my family decided we wanted some icecream before heading home. We went through the drive thru and started to order soft serve cones and was told the soft serve was down right now and apologized so we decided to just order sundaes instead and then my daughter ordered cheese sticks. We waited over 15 mins which was also fine they was packed tons of cars in line but when our food was brought out for one our sundaes was made with soft serve so I was confused on why I couldn’t order the butter pecan soft serve in a cone like I wanted but got vanilla soft serve for a sundae then when reaching in the bag to grab my daughters cheese sticks I realize it was onion rings instead. So I walked up to the front and patiently waited since like I said before they had a long line and I wanted everyone to get to order that had been standing in line before me. After everyone had been helped I then walked up to the window to the same girl that helped me through the drive thru I explained I just came through the drive thru and was handed onion rings instead of cheese sticks nothing was said to me just the window being shut in my face so I just stood there waiting. Another girl wearing a pink shirt with long brown hair then came to the window and told me if I didn’t throw the onion rings away they would not give me the cheese sticks I said to her so your not gonna take the onion rings back she said no you have to throw them away I then said throw them away? Why would you ask me to throw away food and waste it because y’all made a mistake? She then told me again if I didn’t throw the onion rings away they would not give me the cheese sticks that I purchased and I’m sure cost more than these onion rings I received. I tossed the onion rings away because whatever I thought that was crazy considering I am a GM of a restaurant myself and I have never told a customer they have to throw something away when the product would be wasted regardless expecially when we was the ones at fault. The young girl was rude and could have handled that a lot different although I understand these girls are young I personally have 16 and 17 year olds working at my store and they no customer service is #1 and if you mess up you make sure you do whatever you can to help that customer regardless customer is always right. The worst part is as I’m standing waiting for my cheese sticks I over here the young lady who was rude telling the entire staff that I was acting ridiculous and how I rolled my eyes this is being said in front of other customers as well. This whole experience was ridiculous and I probably won’t be back. I was beyond nice and understanding and to be treated rudely and to be talked about right in front of my face completely unacceptable. I just hope the owner of this business takes care of the situation because me out of all people understand how some customers can be I am always understanding and don’t like to complain but after that trip I couldn’t hold back from writing this review. I will say this I wish I had a genie that would grant me wishes because I know one of my wishes would be to have dairy freeze right next to "MEEEEEZZZ"!! DID I SAY THAT RIGHT OR WRONG??? BUT I am going to just say this save your tip of your finger or the screen of your phone by not putting your pressure on it by trying to type your answer I asked you if I was right or wrong because really I don't care what anybody says LOL or should I say lmmfao again and again because I love that place like a fat kid loves cake!!!!! Lol listen the whole wide world whoever May read this review this place is the best in my opinion of ice cream places in Louisville Kentucky so if you're ever in Louisville Kentucky come on down there valley station and get you a good ol ice cream from old Dairy freeze and I'm sorry for the long review but I tell you it's hard to find a place that sells good old-fashioned hand dipped ice cream anymore so all-in-all I give this place 10 Stars if I could and I tell you what I live across town I don't live in valley but I'll tell you right now not sure we'll drive to valley and get me ice cream everyday if I had to or if I wanted too but again keep up the good work valley Dairy freeze whoever place clean sanitized great customer service All in...

Lately they have been really off ! I usually enjoy this place but last 3 times I took my kids and the service was pretty bad , they destroyed the order asked for basic flavors one strawberry and two pineapple shakes . The strawberry had traces of chocolate in it and one pineapple shake was purely vanilla , and just today I went for a banana split and it was the opposite of what I asked for. I notice the owner never replies to the negative reviews just the positive ones and when I asked for it to be fixed they snatched it and had a attitude . It really sucks cause I grew up loving this...
