The food was not too bad but everything else was not worth it. We had to ask several people to get water after we had already been there for 20 minutes and our food had come out. I get having stuff to do or forgetting for a minute but several people we asked and all of them forgot. It was pretty busy but there seemed to be plenty of servers who were just standing around and chatting with each other. Then it started to get busier and the people waiting were basically right next to us and covering our table so I had to get up and find our server to bring us our check because we really just wanted to leave at that point and it was clear she had forgotten we were there. Then the server runs a bill that isn’t ours and is twice the cost of ours so I had to go find her again because she wouldn’t come to our table. I made sure she void the transaction and actually charged us for our food and then we could finally leave after about an hour of being ignored and having nothing but issues. Will never be going back, worst experience I’ve had in...
Read moreI was undoubtedly disappointed with this location because El Diablo in Fort Collins is an amazing restaurant. I came here with a group of 4 total on a Thursday night @ 6:30pm (Halloween) and it wasn’t so busy. For chips & salsa, birria burrito, and a classic margarita, and 15% tip, I paid approx $39. For how bad the service and margarita was, I shouldn’t have left a tip. The classic margarita tasted like beer and was very foamy. The burrito was alright but the meat was dry. This location has a weird layout too, you also have to get your own silverware and get your own salsas. Considering we were the only table that had recently ordered, it took over 10 minutes for water to arrive at the table. I hate having to leave such a bad review for this restaurant, but I’d much rather continue driving a longer distance to the Fort Collins El Diablo instead for better food...
Read moreThis place won me over immediately. The store was spotless clean. The service was incredibly friendly. The food was freshly cooked and piping hot. The chicken was cooked perfectly. The Tiras de pollo was so much more than just "chicken tenders and fries". It was cooked with seasonings and flavor that's not easy to find in Loveland. The home fries are the best I have ever had. A variety of huge chunks of potato, to smaller crispier cuts all seasoned well. Now, about the sauce... the Riki's sauce. Luckily I ordered an extra side of it, which turned out to be a LARGE side, because I will now pour it over everything I eat. A bit of a kick and absolutely addictive. Fresh handmade bizcochos (wedding cookies) for sale on the counter were a nice surprise, made exactly like my Grandmother used to make them...
