This was my first time there.. I love the quiantness of the place, the food was very good, however there was a small hair in our food and they didn't quite know how to handle that situation?? they took the plate back and they were basically going to scoop that part off and just reserved it to her. I was kind of taken aback they brought a new plate out to her. the rest of us were almost done by that time, she didn't want us to sit and wait and have our food go cold. I know these things happen in all kinds of food industries that happens but I thought that they would have at least not charge us for one of the meals ?? that didn't happen. So I guess when things like that happen, you have to bring it to their attention and let them know that this is the proper. Protocol to fottow when something like that happens. Other than that the food was delicious service was very efficient, fast it's funny because they were very knowledgeable about everything else except what protocol to follow. The prices are lower than expected, compared to most restaurants with this inflation that we are having to exist in . Other than the hair in the food, it was a nice meal and a nice restaurant we had...
Read moreBarf. We only went because the other Mexican in town was closed and this was the next best choice off of reviews. Walked in and the place didn’t smell like a Mexican restaurant at all. We did get chips and salsa right away. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce and was pretty gross. A server finally came over about 5 minutes later and asked for our drink order. Waters, sangria, a marg and guacamole. The server brought the guac and threw it on the table, no words just tossed it down. The sangria had no ice or fruit added to it and tasted like Carlo Rossi from the bottle. I guess the marg was decent. The guac tasted like it was store bought from the container and was also inedible. We couldn’t find anything we wanted to eat so I went to the counter to pay and got the heck outta...
Read moreI'm sorry to have to say it, because El Pueblito has been our favorite Mexican restaurant for a many years: it seems to be in decline. On our January 2020 visit, the salsa was barely distinguishable from tomato sauce. After we ate every chip big enough to hold salsa, the basket was still half-full of fingernail-sized bits, and they never offered to bring us more. Our drinks - two waters, two sodas - were all empty before the meal ended, and were never refilled. Two orders of queso didn't arrive until the main course was well underway. The people that served us didn't really bother to be friendly. In fact, the girl working the register really stood out because she was friendly, as she has always been over the years. I'm not saying we'll never go back, but it's going to be...
