Stopped by this 1709 W. Eisenhower location yesterday to use a card that expired at the end of the day for a free 6" sub. After I had 2 sandwiches made and went to the register, the new owner was standing there and told me that the offer is no longer accepted at that location since she bought the store a couple months ago. I showed her that the store address was printed on the card along with other valid store addresses and that it expires today, and asked if she would accept it in good faith. She said no, I'm sorry! Well, Apology not accepted. I should have just left the 2 sandwiches laying on the counter and walked out, but I chose to take the high road and pay the ridiculous price of $17.59 for 2 6-inch subs. I was even giving them another sale in addition to the free sandwich. They have a couple great staff members at this location that I really like but the new owner is a piece of work and ruins the experience for everyone. We frequent this location especially during the summer months but, the greed of this new owner and her refusal to honor this coupon made this our final visit to this store. Will likely avoid Subway in it's entirety due to extreme pricing as well. Oh, and by the way, one of our subs was less than 6" (Just sayin). We...
Read moreMy fiancé is obsessed with Subway, it’s a problem. We came in to this location later in the evening a few weeks ago on a Monday. Some kid named “Travirs” is completely stoned and is the only employee. I can see in his eyes he is on something (completely red and glazed over), he can’t look at us or even in our direction, and he is moving slower then a normal human. I was honestly quite worried about it. I asked him for a meat ball sub, he proceeds to go to the back where the fridge is, stays in there for about a minute, comes out and says, “we are out of that”. I asked him for a turkey and bacon on whatever bread he had left for the day, he proceeds to go to the back where the fridge is, stays in there for about a minute, comes out and says, “we are out of that”. I ended up leaving and going next door to try the burrito place. I feel so bad for the owner and managers of this establishment. Who ever is doing your hiring needs to drug test. We now drive clear across town to avoid giving them our business. I can’t support a business that would allow a person like this to handle their...
Read moreOn Thursday, September 7th, 2017 at approximately 7 or 7:15pm my wife and chose this Subway for convenience and how close it is to our home. This is also the last time we will be visiting. First of all there was a man behind the counter. This particular man spent the entire time berating and complaining to the customer behind us how she should have been back after some appointment she had had. Now this is none of our business. But he continued to whine at this lady and it affected his sandwich making. My wife had to remind him twice what bread she wanted. Asked what kind of cheese repeatedly. Finally we get our food and take it home. The bread crumbled in my hands. The meat was pretty nasty. And my wife has spent her entire day with unmentionable stomach issues. To the point that she had to leave work early. I on the other hand have not had the ability to go home early, and the issues I'm having make my traffic control job dangerous. But as I've mentioned, we will never be back to this store. Also I will be steering others clear so that they won't have to deal with the...
