This is the second time I ordered from this place. The first time wasn’t a great experience. But it’s local and we decided to give it another try. We ordered 2 subs, onion rings and a bacon cheese fry. The only thing that didn’t have an issue was the onion rings. When we picked the order up, half the staff wasn’t wearing a mask. There were 3 people standing at the cash register just staring at us. We walked up to the counter and the one girl started to read my order to me. She said we ordered a cheeseburger salad... ummm gross, then said it was a sandwich. I asked specifically if it was a sub that was made and she said yes. Well it wasn’t. It was an actual burger. With bacon bits on it. The cheesesteak has a ton of ingredients on it that I didn’t order. And the bacon cheese fry was squished on the bottom of everything. I called back to tell them that it was all wrong. The manager, I think, was kind enough to offer to fix it and deliver it to us. We originally accepted the offer. Realizing I forgot to mention something to the man I was speaking to, I called back and asked to speak with him again. The girl who answered the phone questioned me for calling again, asking “didn’t you just speak to him?” Instantly furious, I spoke to him again. I asked if he started remaking the order and with an attitude he said, “well I was about to”. So then I asked him not to and that I will bring the food back and want my money back. He said ok then hung up on me. Then returning the food was annoying because all the dumb little girls behind the counter were visibly whispering and pointing discussing the incident that just happened. Your staff should be trained on customer service and how to treat people, on the phone and in person. They should also be more knowledgeable about what food they’re serving people. Everything was hot, fresh and as ordered! The second time, I ordered and this time I placed a delivery order. After waiting 30 minutes past the delivery window they gave me, I called them. They then tell me that door dash or whatever service didn't show up and they were waiting for another driver. I said to cancel the order at that point because everything would be cold by the time it got to me. They only wanted to refund me half and tell me it just left with another driver. Guess the driver ate my dinner because it never arrived. Only after calling back did I get a full refund. So finally on the 3rd time, I ordered online at 3 that afternoon for a 6:15 order pickup. I worked til 6 that evening and get to my car after my shift to a text at 5:45 saying my order was ready to be picked up! 🤬 I get there and explain that I was at work til 6 which is why I scheduled a 6:15 pickup! I politely asked for a fresh order due to the order sitting there for a half hour getting cold. She said sure! I sat and waited for an additional 15 minutes after just working a 12 hour shift. I get home to cold food. The fries had been put back in the oil (which I asked her not to do) because they were nearly cooked through and hard as rocks. Read moreThe food was average the server was great. I would have given a better rating because of the service but the manager or whoever had a horrible attitude. He made snide remarks in front of my child and I because we were picking out gelato that he had just “shut down”. It was 9:15 and we were told it was fine to order gelato but the kitchen was closed, at 9:15 it’s open until 10. Then he argued with my husband as we were leaving, it was 9:30 and again, they close at ten according to their sign. They were still handing out to-go orders. I called just to make sure if we went back what the time it was supposed to close by was and to ask what this guys problem was with us. There were still people seated there so it wasn’t us holding him up to leave. Yea, so he answered the phone and was nasty as he was when we were at the restaurant. Cursing, saying he didn’t give us a hard time. Unless his idea of being professional includes negative comments in front of a seven year old picking out gelato and being rude is professional then I may be wrong. I would recommend this place as long as you go three hours before it closes and don’t mind being snarled at by the “manager” for leaving a half hour before closing. I feel bad for the server.
