Our family eats Chinese often and we always try all restaurants. Thusfar, 88 China is our favorite of all in the area. We’ve ordered takeout at least a dozen times this year alone. All of the food is excellent. In comparison to other restaurants it’s a bit lighter and fresher in taste. It’s also always been consistent. Our typical staples are beef or chicken and broccoli, chicken lo mein, chicken pad Thai, general tsoas chicken, sweet and sour pork, chicken fried rice, vegetable fried rice, won ton soup, egg rolls and crab rangoons. They’ve always been extremely friendly and personable. This, accompanied with wonderful food keeps us going back each month at a minimum.
I was shocked to read others feel the food is no good or they are rude people as that has never been our experience. In fact, they even have helped carry bags to my car as we typically have very large orders. In my experience they go above and beyond and their food is excellent. I highly recommend and am actually heading their again today as it’s become our family tradition to get Chinese on...
Read moreMy Chinese food standards are high being from Brooklyn New York. Now that I put that out there I was skeptical to even try this place. I kept it really simple with my order. They vegetable soup I had was okay at best. The fried rice was surprisingly okay. I usually don't like fried rice that is yellow like that. The chicken was mehhhhhh. Definitely won't try this place again. The restaurant was VERY clean & the gentleman that took my order was cool but the lady that gave me my food seemed to be very dry &...
Read moreGot chicken fried rice takeout. It tasted weird. The chicken tasted like shrimp. I shouldn’t have ate it. I ended up with very bad food poisoning!
Worst feeling ever. Lasted days and couldn’t eat a thing. Kept throwing up the rice. Got dehydrated.
Two other friends ate with me and got food items different from mine and were fine. But I wouldn’t chance it.
Update: Food poisoning lasted 3 days and warranted a ER visit. It has been over a month and my gastrointestinal tract has not returned to normal. I’ve had to have multiple ER visits and a hospitalization due to not being able to eat properly since the food poisoning has irritated my GI tract and has caused a long-lasting membrane...
