First time eating at this pizza shop. I’ve lived here for years and never stopped in. Tonight I was shopping in that plaza and I figured I might as well. Just jump in there and grab some dinner quick. Plenty of parking out front as it is in the strip mall. Very well lit up and you can feel safe, parking anywhere and walking across the parking lot. From first walking in I noticed that they have a very small bar area. Set up now with about four or five tops, which was really cool to see, and I will have to come back again just to try it out. So I can’t really give a review on that. Anyway, from the time I walked in the door, one of the workers greeted me very friendly as soon as I stepped in. Took my order immediately And were very nice and cordial. I ordered a large cheesesteak, french fries, and a fountain Coke and it was slightly under $20 which was very reasonable for today’s day and rates. Food came out rather quick and I was very surprised, very friendly waitress brought it over to the table. The steak was good , had nice amount of meat, could have used more flavor but overall it was good. The fries were just bland to me however I’m biased towards crinkle cut fries which these were not , just straight shoe string potatoes fries. Either way service was nice and friendly, food was good and place was clean from what I could tell. I’d come back again to try their pizza.

SEE EDIT BELOW: from five star to one star.Macungie and the surrounding area suffer from pizza mediocrity. As a Philadelphia native I guess I will never find what I am used to. Crust should crunch like a potato chip. Not eat like white bread. This is not 5 star pizza. But for the area’s pizza it is one of the better ones. Service is friendly, priced very good. EDIT: This facility now has a $10 minimum for cards. Was not posted on the door or at the register. Was informed only after I ordered my lunch. I am not a pizza shop owner so I may be wrong, but I believe this will alienate an entire lunch crowd. I understand cost have went up, but to steal money from me is not acceptable. Joe’s Pizza down the street, is mediocre, but they don’t steal my money. Put my .99 cents to good work, I will not be returning.

My first time going eating here I had 2 slices & a drink for under six dollars. It was pretty good. Not quite Brooklyn pizza but definitely good.. As a matter a fact I was so impressed by the pizza I had I decided to go bacc that same day. Since I had pizza for lunch I thought I should grab something a little more healthier second go around. I'm super glad I did cause man I haven't had a salad this good in a while. It was absolutely great. I would definitely recommend this place and if I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be returning. The place is clean & chill. Its TVs in there also. The staff in the night was just as nice in the afternoon.

Though I think the food here is good, the service leaves a lot to be desired. Twice we have ordered take out and the food was wrong. The second time was a huge inconvenience, because we had ordered sandwiches to take to an event that didn't have any food. We discovered we were given the wrong sandwich after we got there (tuna!!), and my daughter refused to eat it. We ended up leaving the event early so that we could get her dinner. I brought the wrong sandwich back the next day, another inconvenience, and I got a curt, "what would you like me to do?" from the owner Beth. She gave me my money back and that was it. No apology whatsoever. I was so disgusted, I called when I got home pointing out that she didn't even apologize for their error. Only to get an insincere "I'm sorry" to placate me. That's it- no elaboration, no we could have handled this better, no I'm really sorry for the mixup, no I'm sorry for all the inconvenience, nothing. Not okay in any sense of the word. The young teenager at the cash register had more people skills than her. Pizza joints are a dime a dozen. If the service sucks, customers...

Some things here are great, other things are mediocre or inconsistent. I'll start with the good: Cheeseburger is FANTASTIC - bun, meat, toppings all A+ My husband loves their pierogies, they are really generously filled. Salads are tasty, they use a nice blend of lettuces. Cheesesteaks can be great some nights, other nights they're just OK. Pizza is not their strong suit, dough/crust is tough and flavorless. Cheese, sauce, and seasoning is good but not exceptional. Fries are well seasoned but often under-cooked where several fries in the order are inedible. When they're done well though they are really yummy. SO... the theme is inconsistency. I know they are often really busy, but unfortunately I think this hurts their food quality at times. Perhaps they're rushing. Only other factor to review is the price. I pay about $5-8 more there versus comparable orders from other local restaurants. If the quality was consistently better I would...
