I brought my wife to your Audubon, PA location for Valentine’s Day, and the experience was bad from the beginning and got much worse. We had 6pm reservations, and arrived early. Before we were seated, my wife used the restroom. When she returned, she mentioned that the restroom was disgusting - filthy and gross. We were seated when she returned. The host brought us to our table and placed two filthy menus on the table. A few minutes after we sat down, our waiter appeared. He didn’t welcome us, introduce us to himself - nothing. This was foreshadowing the disinterested service that we would receive from him for the rest of our visit. He asked if we wanted to order drinks. Since we had just sat down and were getting acquainted with the food and drink menus, we told him we were not ready. Without a word, he walked away. He eventually came back and we ordered drinks. He also asked if we wanted to order food at that time. I told the waiter what I wanted and my wife had questions about what she was interested in ( she didn’t want whatever sauce was on the sandwich, per the menu). When the waiter brought the drinks back, there was something solid floating around in mine, so we asked to send it back. He then asked what my wife was interested in again (he forgot). A few minutes later, my food came out (lobster cheese steak and crab fries). I asked for silverware and was told that it’s all being washed. I asked if there was something I could scoop food with, and the waiter said he could bring out plastic utensils. We flagged our waiter down and he asked again what she wanted. After waiting 10 minutes, I began eating my meal because I thought it wouldn’t taste good cold. I finished my meal in 15 minutes and my wife still hadn’t received her meal. Five minutes later, her meal came out - and the meal that she ordered - that she asked for without sauce four times came out slathered with sauce. We asked for it to be re-made. Her meal finally came out, correct - 40 minutes after my meal was served. Annoyed - since this whole experience was a mess, I asked the host to find the manager because I’d like to speak with him/her. The host went to find the manager. My wife and I waited at least 10 minutes - maybe 15 — and the manager never came over to speak with me. Frustrated, we paid and left. Walking out, I told the host that the manager never came over. Read moreI went out to eat here for my mother's birthday. Service started out bad. She was not listening and getting stuff wrong that we asked for. Luckily she double checked before she left so everything was corrected. For context I am in my 30s and with my late 60s parents (almost 70 year old) parents and 29 year old brother. So I was not with anyone that could have been confused with being young. First my mom asked a question. What is the difference between a margarita and I believe some kind of fruity drink. The waitress goes "its on the menu" instead of just saying one fruity and one is tequila with sour mix. Very unnecessary. The it gets even better. I order a drink and she IDs me (which is already a little odd to me because its not like I appear to be under 21). Fine. I give her my Florida ID. Which Florida is in the United States, believe it or not. I guess she told the manager I had a fake id. So he came over and said he needed to see it. Super unnecessary. Obviously I'm pissed by this point because I've never had someone treat me like I gave them a fake id. Even when I was in my early 20s I was never treated this way. It was literally insane. So he says it's fine. Then she brings my parents her drinks AND DOESN'T BRING MY DRINK. After all that she doesn't even put my drink order in clearly. I have no idea what was wrong with her. I get that I may look younger than my age but I don't look like I'm 18 or something. So I get the manager and then she runs up saying "here it is." It was too late by this point. They already had their drinks for a while. It was truly runing my mom's birthday dinner. After we were expressing how had the service was, he actually covered our entire meal, drinks and all. He gave really good customer service. So that made up for all of this. That did save the entire night. What is funny is after this, she gave great service. She started being nice, and checking on us. She either 1. Just cared about trying to save her tip or 2. He had a talk with her about her customer service. Still ended up tipping her in the end because I would feel bad about not tipping her, even though I'd say we would have been justified. Besides that, the food was really really good. Instead of the host asking the family of 7 to please wait while we set the table up they had two 2 tops and a 4 top wait in the lobby for ten minutes. My fiancé and I decided to go sit at the bar. After sitting at the bar both bartenders looked at us but didn’t offer us drinks or a menu. They began collecting money from the bar instead and staring at the terminal instead of greeting us. Only one bartender should need to close out checks while the other serves guests. After waiting for about 5 Worse service I have ever had. We walked in to a line at 2 PM. This was for a 7 top that came in. Instead of the host asking the family of 7 to please wait while we set the table up they had two 2 tops and a four top wait. My fiancé decided to go sit at the bar. After sitting at the bar both bartenders looked at us but didn’t offer us drinks or a menu. They began collecting money from the bar and staring at the terminal instead of greeting us.
