Unfortunately, I hate to do this but this is an ongoing issue. There has been several times (more than 4/5) when calling you get put on hold and forgotten about. One time I was on hold for 45 minutes. I have hung up and then was unable to call back because no one hung up the phone. Today’s phone call has lead to this review after having patience for a good 7 months or so. The phone call today Employee -Mr. Sticky’s how can I help you. Me- yes can you tell me what soups at available? Employee- Mr. Sticky’s how can I help you? Me- Yes can you tell me what soups you have. Employee - turkey pot pie & chilli Me- yumm can I have the turkey pot pie please? Employee- ummmm yes it won’t be ready untill after 11. (I looked at the clock and it’s after 11) Me-hmmmmm ok Employee- hey mark when will the pot pie be done (Can not hear the conversation they have) So are you going to place an order or what? I mean? Me- “so am I going to place an order or what?” I wanted the turkey pot pie but never mind have a good day.
Unfortunately the customer service there (by only a few) has killed it for me. I understand being short staffed and busy, but after 6 plus months of numerous encounters like this I will not be returning. This is heartbreaking because I LOVE the home made soups, salads and other food there. I even order for my entire staff food when we have meetings, busy seasons, special events and other things going on because the food and sticky buns are amazing. I’m sure this will not affect your business at all but hopefully the person who keeps being so rude will maybe someday change how they treat people who ENJOY this establishment, because even after talking to management about this months ago there...
Read moreLocated behind the Xfinity store on 3rd Street at the Golden Plaza in Williamsport since 2004, this establishment serves the ultimate treat any time of the year but especially during the holidays as a Christmas brunch or dessert. My partner and I came today for takeout.
We first discovered Mr. Sticky’s after a friend brought some sweet delights of sticky buns. Cinnamon rolls flipped once they came out of the oven. Brown sugar mixture on the bottom of the pan melts into a smooth and silky cap that coats and cascades down the finished batch of rolls.
Baked from scratch daily, they only make five versions of buns/rolls: the regular Mr. Sticky, plain cinnamon roll, walnut sticky bun, peanut butter cinnamon roll, and cream cheese cinnamon roll.
Beside the star of the show, they also serve homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches served on their homemade rolls.
We decided and called this morning an order for a dozen each of the regular Mr. Sticky buns and walnut sticky buns.
Greeted by the staff upon entering, our order was ready for pickup in two large cartons. They were still hot arriving at our final destination.
After biting through chewy, sticky rolls, you taste a blast of mouth-watering cinnamon and crusty bits of brown sugar. These are very big and can easily be shared and/or eaten over a few days. The pricing was reasonable at $52. It’s worthy of a close to 4-hour drive, which we...
Read moreOur office orders from here all the time - at least 3 times a month. And usually everything is great. We have had the occasional hiccup (like salt in the lemonade once instead of sugar) but for the most part the food is great and the service is acceptable. Today the boss called from the corporate office to order our company lunch for Christmas and was on the phone for 10+ minutes. The girl who took the order was clearly flustered and overwhelmed. It wasn't a huge order (just for 4 people) but because the company was paying, we had to use a card over the phone. She gave us a hard time about using the card when it was our only option, then she was talking to coworkers loudly - our boss heard her complaining to coworkers that we needed to use the card and making rude comments as she explained to her coworker that we had no other option but to use the card. I do not think we will be ordering from here again. I realize it's the holidays and everywhere is busy, but our boss was kind and willing to hold in order to do something nice for the staff. The comments were unnecessary. Then, when the staff member we sent to pick up the food went in, she said she waited over 10 minutes for our order to be located (during which time they told her there was no order) and then they sent her back with 4 sandwiches with no condiments at all and cold french fries. Mr. Sticky's really dropped...
