Dave & Buster's Lubbock — Restaurant in Lubbock

I called in advance to book a table for my daughter’s birthday, the guy that took my call said I had to do it online but that sometimes it shows unavailable and I could always go in as a walk in so of course couldn’t make a reservation so we went in as a walk in. I had a party of about 10 I asked before being seated if we could have a booth close to the game area since it was for a birthday and kids were going to be playing. The host apologized and said I had to go to a table and order whatever then after I close out my ticket I could go to a booth because there was no waiter there for the booths. I said ok no worries. We did exactly as told and closed out our ticket. I went back to ask the host if we could move now to do the cake since we had finished eating. She walked me to the booth where we were going to be seated and I thanked her. Next thing you know the manager comes over and asks did I need help with something I said no thank you the host took care of us. She said well you can’t sit here and was not apologetic at all just completely rude and said we had to move because now they had a waitress out of training and we couldn’t be there. We went back to our original table and were just ignored, we had to get up multiple times to be assisted and acknowledge. I tried my hardest to ignore it all and not let anything ruin my daughters special day but it was the worst as adults. It’s no wonder Lubbock can’t keep...

Not off to a very good start and they haven't even opened yet! I tried to book this location for an event well in advance, over a month out for May 26, 2023. The coordinator sent me the finalized proposal to review and the link to pay my deposit last night. She was super nice and accommodating. She answered all my questions and did her best to get this event booked. This morning (4/14/23) I get a phone call saying I can't book my event unless I am willing to spend well over $1000 AT LEAST (I believe the minimum was $1800). Granted, my final total was at $824.98 for 20 people. Because my requested date falls on a Friday they don't want to block off 3 hours of tables that they'll lose revenue from. However, they would be willing to accommodate me if I would be willing to reschedule it on a day that is Monday thru Thursday. Sorry but unfortunately I can't reschedule graduation. It's because they will be so new they don't want to miss out on the potential amount of money they could have made that night instead of hosting a graduation celebration. Trust me Dave & Buster's, Lubbock has nothing new, you'll make it up eventually. But I won't make any contributions to your establishment. Good luck and...

We went here today and it was very busy. My husband ordered shrimp Cajun pasta without sausage. When the food came out the pasta still had sausage in it. We waited for about an hour before my husband could get the correct meal. When the shrimp pasta came back out there was a piece of meat in it. How it got there, I do not know. My son ordered the rib-eye meal. The ribeye was charred and when he started eating the mashed potatoes he realized he was chewing on something that was a different texture and spit it out in a napkin. When I started digging through the mashed potatoes there was macaroni in it. I’m not sure who is doing quality control on the food that’s going out to customers but this was not a good experience for us. We told the waiter and she was very apologetic and so was the manager. Overall customer service was great (thank you Desiree) but the food was not so good. The manager did however comp the pasta meal and we appreciated that. We paid our bill and still gave a tip because we got great service, however I’m not sure that we’d eat here during busy...
