This has to be the absolute worst HTeaO location that Iāve ever been to. I realize itās just a drink store, but there has to be some level of training and competency the owners and manager provide the staff working. I also realize this is very close to a university so youāre going have very young staff but again training for working in a retail store is important. My first negative interaction involved me bringing my own cup in and the girl charging me $11 for one drink. When I argued that I was actually supposed to get a discounted rate when you have your own cup she said she supposed to charge more which goes completely against what the main website for HTeaO states. Additionally, when we go in, we almost always buy the same thing. I can tell you, without a doubt, we are never charged the same dollar amount for the exact size same drinks each time weāve gone in.
We had a large meeting at work this week and I volunteered to bring tea for everyone. I came in the morning to buy 4 gallons and also brought my own cup to refill. When going to pay, I indicated that I also needed to purchase a Sleeve of cups. The staff indicated she couldnāt sell cups. I mentioned to her that Iāve done this multiple times before and that without the cups, we couldnāt drink the FOUR GALLONS of tea. She indicated she couldnāt find the button on the screen to purchase the cups so I wasnāt able to buy them. Again, this is a lack of training from management and just another example of poor management of this location. I left empty-handed, went to another tea, location in town and spent my $40 with a welcoming well trained company that I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere is not a drink menu inside the store, not even a QR code to scan. To keep it simple, I order a "small black iced coffee". The young lady looks at me like I am a smelly drunken hobo speaking Portuguese in a Russian accent. I repeat the order, slowly. More confusing looks. She talks to an associate in whispers and asks me if I want syrup in it. I said , "No. I don't any sugar added, just a small black iced coffee, please." She walks to the back of the store to talk to a manager. The manager makes the drink and hands me a HUGE cup of iced coffee. This cup.is not small, it's a reservoir capable of irrigating a small soybean farm. I now have enough caffeine for the next three days. I ask why can't I get this same drink in a smaller cup and I point to a smaller cup on the counter. She sighs and replies, "Those are for espresso drinks only " $6 later, I won't be back. Poor trainers produce poor results in front line customer experiences. It shouldn't be this exhausting (or expensive) to order a small coffee š¤Ŗšš¤£.
The coffee is pretty damn good, so it's not a completely...

Then she hands me the 2 huge teas I didn't notice they labeled the half and half on the lid so I asked her witch was witch and with the continued snobby attitude she said.....isn't labeled on the top....then i left
