Rita’s Donuts — Restaurant in Lubbock

My first time visit was great, I walked in and ate there. They were very nice people. So yesterday while I was at Home Depot we decided to order again . I ordered 3 strawberry filled donuts and 3 croissants. Got home coz we had nurses coming to visit my mom. 1st order was a ham croissant with no cheese 2nd was a sausage croissant with sausage 3rd was a ham and bacon So I get home and the first croissant was right The other 2 only had the meat no eagg and no cheese. So I call back and I guess the owner answered and said well bring them back and I will make it right for you. I told her I didn’t have time to run back. So the girl that took our order got in the phone and said for me to come back tomorrow and she would replace them. So I give 2 donuts to the nurses and they are not even filled! They only had a dap of strawberry on the top of them. So I go back today and the owner tells me I should have brought all the sandwiches back so she could replace them. So I took time to go and buy from them and coz they messed it up I am suppose to make an extra trip to have them make it right?? Oh heck no and then I ask her for a refund and she tells me NO!!! So I told her she has lost my business and I would not refer them coz they are stupid!!! She starts yelling and me and telling me I am stupid. Very unprofessional and she has no customer service what so ever!!! I have never heard of customers being told to bring back the food!!! NEVER WILL DO BUSINESS with them again!!!!! I...

Unfortunately I have to give a bad review this time. I've been here a few times and it's always been OK, but this last visit was very disappointing. I started by ordering a dozen donut holes and the lady handed me the bag and gave me the total as if I was finished with my order. I wanted to order more and she was surprised by that. I ordered 2 small kolaches and 2 chocolate covered cake donuts. What I got was 2 stale kolaches and 2 chocolate cake donuts that she put into the microwave and they turned to mush in the bag. They were not able to be eaten and soaked through. We were in a rush so I couldn't go back and have the order corrected. The kolaches were hard and we gave up on those. Sorry. Just...

I come to this donut shop fairly regularly but I won't be back after today. I received a phone call as I was pulling up to the window, the lady inside saw me on the phone and closed the window in my face as I was asking my boss to hang on for a moment while I ordered my donuts. I do understand that it is rude to be on the phone while ordering food, which is why I asked the person on the phone to hold while I did so. Then the lady barely opened the window and I had to scream my order to her and pay. As she handed me my change she told me "you should know that it's rude to be on the phone while ordering".
